Lithat guide: skills, build and team roles
Overview
Lithat is a Legendary Fire Melee Attacker from the Lightseekers Faction in Invokers: Titan Legacy. He Pulls enemies together, marks them with Hex so they can't be revived when they die, steals buffs, transfers debuffs and follows up with area damage. His value goes beyond the damage on his Ultimate: your team can use the grouped enemies and the time Hex is active to finish off enemies who would otherwise be revived.
Fully Awakened and before Gear, Lithat has 1,084 ATK, 848 DEF and 8,813 HP. His ATK is high for a Melee Attacker and his HP is high.
Skills To Prioritize
Lucent Apex Pulls up to ten enemies from within ten metres toward Lithat, then attacks a six-metre area and places Hex. At Level 10 Hex lasts 13 seconds, and Max Level extends it to 15 seconds and lowers the base cooldown from 26 to 25 seconds.
An enemy that dies while Hex is active gains Block Revive, and Lithat doesn't have to land the killing blow, so time Hex with your team's damage: when enemies go down, Hex stops them from getting back up. An expired or removed Hex doesn't give a permanent ban on revival.
Alabaster Pyre attacks twice, transferring debuffs on the first hit and stealing buffs on the second. At Level 3 it steals two buffs, at Level 6 it transfers two debuffs, at Level 8 it steals three buffs and at Max Level it transfers three debuffs. These are separate, each with its own condition: Lithat needs debuffs on him to transfer, and the enemy needs buffs that can be removed. It needs Accuracy, and protected effects can't be stolen.
Incandescent Fury places RES Down for seven seconds, reaching 65% at Level 10 and 70% at Max Level. That can help your later debuffs land, but the RES Down itself has to pass an Accuracy check. It lowers RES, not DEF, so it isn't a direct damage boost.
His Combo finisher also shortens enemy buffs: one buff by 2.8 seconds at Level 10, improving to two buffs by three seconds at Max Level.
His Ultimate, Serenity's Castigation, attacks the surrounding area five times over 3.75 seconds. The first and fifth hits each place Burn on one enemy, so the Burn isn't placed on every enemy with every hit. At Level 10 the primary Burn is 1.5% of MAX HP per tick with 0.75% splash, lasting 13 seconds and capped at 400% of Lithat's ATK. Max Level extends the Burn to 14 seconds, raises the cap to 500% and lowers the cost from 850 to 800 Mana. The two-second tick is a base value that Skill SPD speeds up.
If you want Lithat to stop enemies reviving, upgrade Lucent Apex first, as Max Level extends Hex to 15 seconds. If you want him to take enemies' buffs or pass his debuffs on, upgrade Alabaster Pyre first, as Level 3 and Level 8 add stolen buffs while Level 6 and Max Level add transferred debuffs.
Build And Team Support
Lithat places Burn, so build him as a Burn damage dealer: Accuracy on your Chestplate and Flask so his Burn, RES Down and buff stealing land, then ATK and Accuracy as high as the build allows, as ATK raises the cap on his Burn. Don't build Crit Rate or Crit DMG: those rolls do nothing for his Burn damage. Keep enough HP and DEF to survive the enemies he Pulls in.
For Relic Sets, Accuracy Relics help his Burn, RES Down and buff stealing land, and Attack Relics raise the ATK his Burn cap and hits scale from. His native Crush and Fatigue Tolerances match Althar's Corruptions.
Pulling enemies toward a Melee Attacker puts him among them, so have follow-up damage, control or protection ready. His Skills don't heal or Shield, so bring healing or Shields from other Invokers.
Arena, Bosses And Spires
In Arena, Hex gives you an answer to revival teams, and Lucent Apex's Pull groups enemies for your allies' area attacks. Keep him protected, as he doesn't bring healing or Shields of his own.
Against Althar, Hex stops his minions from getting back up: time Lucent Apex so they die while it's active and they gain Block Revive.
Against Sakiel, Alabaster Pyre's buff stealing and debuff transfer may help, but be wary of Serenity's Castigation's Burn, as Sakiel takes less Burn damage and speeds up his Skills from Burn ticks. Be wary of Fire Omnissi too, who is immune to Burn, as the Burn from his Ultimate won't work on her.
Against Hyxxis, be careful how often you place Burn. Serenity's Castigation can place Burn, and Hyxxis's Sludger passive shortens her Ensacment cooldown by one second whenever Burn or Bleed is placed on her. Repeated Burns can bring the next sac forward while a surviving Tank is still protected from retargeting by Sludge, exposing another ally. The trigger is each Burn placed, not each damage tick, so plan your Tank rotation around it instead of treating Burn as free extra damage.
In the Fire Spire, Pull and Hex together help with wave control and finishing marked enemies. Bring healing or Shields, as his Skills don't give the team any.
Awaken
Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Lithat's potential.
Unlocking each Titan node at Star 2, 4 and 6 adds a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
