Top 20 Supports

A good Support decides how long your team survives and how hard it hits. Support is meant broadly here: a few of these Invokers are Tanks or debuffers whose kits also heal, shield, revive or buff the team.

The following Supports are listed in no particular order. Each section explains what the Invoker does, where it helps, and what to watch for, followed by two honorable mentions.

To see where each Invoker stands by mode and by Boss, open the Ultimate Tier List. Skills can change with updates, so check an Invoker's page before you invest in them.

1. Kegbeast Tonhaka

Kegbeast Tonhaka is a Rare Light Support from the Freeborn, and can be considered a 'budget' version of Sebastin the Dreamweaver that any account can get. His Ultimate Launches nearby enemies and gives allies Crit Rate Up and Crit DMG Up. Even if your attackers already reach their Crit Rate, the Crit DMG Up alone adds a lot of damage.

Cheerful Round gives the team Combo SPD Up, and Keg Roller places ACC Down, so enemies land fewer of their own debuffs.

Build Tonhaka if your damage dealers rely on critical hits and you have no Legendary buffer yet.

2. Tassia the Lost

Tassia the Lost is a Legendary Water Support from the Freeborn, mixing healing with control. Her Manaburn and Crush Tolerances make fights like Hyxxis much easier.

Watchful Eye heals an ally and removes debuffs, Thalassic Terror places ATK Down and Shock, and Blinding Storm Launches and places Blind. From Level 6, Blinding Storm also revives a fallen ally, so get it there as soon as you can.

Build Tassia if you face Manaburn fights and want a revive on your team.

3. Sebastin the Dreamweaver

Sebastin the Dreamweaver is a Legendary Wind Support from the Freeborn, and the strongest damage buffer in the game. Dream of Destruction gives allies Crit Rate Up and Crit DMG Up, Dream of Celerity gives ATK Up and Evasion, and he heals through Regeneration on your lowest-HP allies.

He also extends allies' buffs, from his Skills and his Combo Attack. His value comes from his Skill Levels more than his Ascension, so upgrade his Skills first.

Build Sebastin if your damage dealers rely on critical hits.

4. Yusasa

Yusasa is an Epic Earth Support from the Cambion, and a good healer for an account that cannot spend much. Swift Life Chant gives Regeneration to two allies, her Ultimate heals your lowest-HP ally again and again, and Windshoot Field places Move SPD Down on a group.

Spirit Branch extends debuffs on a target, and since she scales with ATK, she deals some damage too.

Build Yusasa if you need sustained healing without a Legendary.

5. Akrila the Oathpainter

Akrila the Oathpainter is a Legendary Water Support from the Cambion, with a mix of buffing and debuffing. Her Ultimate, Painted Voidlings, removes debuffs from nearby allies, shields them and heals them.

Her other Skills work on the enemy: Blinding Chroma places Blind, Purifying Brush slows the enemy's Skill recovery and shortens your allies' debuffs, Artful Purge shortens an enemy buff, and her Combo Attack extends a debuff. Those hostile effects need Accuracy, so do not build her purely for bulk.

Build Akrila if you want one Support who cleanses, shields and heals your team.

6. Jutsubo

Jutsubo is a Legendary Light Support from the Cambion, and a strong debuffer who keeps the team alive at the same time. Her Ultimate heals allies, gives them DEF Up and pushes back an enemy Skill's cooldown, and Secret of Dreams heals your lowest-HP ally.

On the debuff side, Secret of Hurt places DEF Down, Secret of Despair places ATK Down on a group, and her Combo Attack extends a debuff.

Build Jutsubo if you want one Support who covers both healing and debuffs.

7. Charvaine the Hypnomancer

Charvaine the Hypnomancer is a Legendary Water Support from the Magi, and one of the most flexible Supports in the game. Her Ultimate gives defensive or offensive buffs depending on whether her DEF or ATK is higher, plus Skill RECOV Up and Mana while her HP is high.

Phantasm Lash gives Combo SPD Up, Hat of Visions gives Evasion, and she generates Mana and Titan Mana. Because her build decides what her Ultimate does, a second copy lets you run both versions.

Build Charvaine if you want a Support you can shape to the team, defensive or offensive.

8. Fulrik the Animator

Fulrik the Animator is an Epic Water Support from the Stonehearts who mixes shields and healing. Up And At 'Em! gives ATK Up and Combo SPD Up, Heal Quartz heals an ally, Invigoration Bolt gives Skill RECOV Up, and Animator Beam extends buffs and shields the team.

Early on, lean him toward healing or shielding; later you can do both. His Manaburn Tolerance helps against Manaburn fights such as Hyxxis.

Build Fulrik if you want an Epic Support who both shields and heals.

9. Nirvelle the Soulraiser

Nirvelle the Soulraiser is an Epic Light Support from the Nocturna, and fits almost any team. Her Ultimate revives a fallen ally and gives the team Unkillable and Crit Rate Up, so she protects your damage dealers and helps them hit harder in one cast.

She also heals the group and places Heal Reduction, ACC Down and Weaken. Vitality Shift's ATK Up only comes when the attack kills its target, so do not count on it against a single Boss.

Build Nirvelle if you want healing, a revive and offensive support all from one Invoker.

10. Ravizia

Ravizia is a Legendary Fire Support from the Nocturna, and as much a debuffer as a Support. Her Ultimate shields the team, gives Regeneration, ATK Up and RES Up, and places Combo SPD Down on enemies.

She also places ACC Down and ATK Down, extends debuffs, and gains Mana when her target has enough debuffs. Be careful with her Ultimate: it first takes part of your allies' current HP before it protects them, so cast it when your team can afford it.

Build Ravizia if your team needs big buffs and can handle the HP cost.

11. Zenneris

Zenneris is an Epic Water Support from the Ironbands. Ice Vice gives the whole team Move SPD Up, which matters more than it looks in real-time fights, and Frostwind gives allies Evasion and Mana for the Ultimate.

Harsh Respite heals your lowest-HP ally, and Winterfall generates a large amount of Titan Mana. The more your team relies on its Titans, the more she is worth.

Build Zenneris if you want your Titans in the fight more often.

12. Kravul the Iron Shaman

Kravul the Iron Shaman is an Epic Wind Support from the Ironbands who stacks several layers of protection. Jaws of Iron places Blind on enemies and gives allies Evasion, so enemy Combo Attacks miss more often.

Ironhorn Ward gives two allies Harden and Willpower, Beastly Steel gives Regeneration and Launches an enemy, and he places RES Down. Blind and Evasion work against Combo Attacks, not every Skill.

Build Kravul if your team keeps getting worn down by Combo Attacks and Control Debuffs.

13. Thylsa the Rootwalker

Thylsa the Rootwalker is an Epic Fire Support from the Eldrin, mixing healing with control. Heady Aroma heals the group and gives ATK Up, Creeper Vine heals an ally from the damage it deals, she places ACC Down, and Tangleroot places Chain so enemies cannot move.

That control gives your team time to heal or get away from melee enemies.

Build Thylsa if you want a healer who also slows the fight down for you.

14. Custodian Plumia

Custodian Plumia is an Epic Fire Support from the Eldrin, built to keep debuffs off your team. Will of the Crystal Egg extends allies' buffs and grants Immunity, Phoenix Rite heals the group and, once upgraded, removes debuffs, and she gives ATK Up.

She stays useful for the whole life of an account, so she is a safe place to put resources.

Build Plumia if debuffs on your team are what keeps costing you fights.

15. Luxare the Prismatic

Luxare the Prismatic is a Legendary Wind Support from the Eldrin, and for now strongest in the Arena. She places Suppression, which blocks an enemy's Ultimate for a short time, and Glitterflash places Blind and ACC Down.

Crown Jewel gives allies a Shield, Move SPD Up and RES Up, and Lustrous Gift grants Immunity and Willpower against several debuffs and shortens the debuffs already on them.

Build Luxare if enemy Ultimates and Control Debuffs are what beat you in the Arena.

16. Plaxi the Monarch

Plaxi the Monarch is a Legendary Fire Support from the Eldrin. Cinderlily Spark gives allies ATK Up and Recovery Up, Glowburst gives Mana to Plaxi and an ally for each debuff on the target, and Flutterflash generates Titan Mana.

Her Ultimate, Monarch's Mark, shields nearby allies and extends their buffs.

Build Plaxi if you want offensive buffs, shields and Titan Mana from one Fire Support.

17. Darkseer Lumisa

Darkseer Lumisa is a Rare Dark Support from the Lightseekers, and a revive any account can get: Vision of Rebirth revives a fallen ally and gives nearby allies ATK Up.

She also heals and extends Bleed on her target, which makes her a strong pick for the Dark Spire.

Build Lumisa if you need a revive and do not have a Legendary or Epic who can bring one.

18. Quinnto the Proclaimer

Quinnto the Proclaimer is a Legendary Earth Support from the Lightseekers, and more useful than his low profile suggests. Mightier Than The Sword gives allies ATK Up and Combo SPD Up, Censure Weakness removes allies' debuffs, and Word of Power extends allies' buffs.

His Ultimate gains damage from his own buffs and gives allies Mana.

Build Quinnto if you want offensive buffs and cleansing in one Legendary.

19. Virtus the Heavensent

Virtus the Heavensent is a Legendary Light Tank from the Lightseekers, and on a Support list for one reason: his Ultimate revives up to ten fallen allies at once and gives them DEF Up.

He also gives allies Deflection and protects himself with Immunity and Harden.

Build Virtus if you want a way to bring the whole team back from a bad moment.

20. Asprill the Enshrined

Asprill the Enshrined is a Legendary Earth Support from the Lightseekers who protects in layers. Sentinel Crash gives Unkillable to your two lowest-HP allies, Legion Shield shields nearby allies and gives DEF Up, and Imperial Gaze gives Damage Filter and ATK Up.

Together, those layers keep your team standing while your damage dealers finish the fight.

Build Asprill if your team keeps losing Invokers to burst damage.

Solnor (Honorable Mention)

Solnor is a Rare Earth Support from the Eldrin, and a reliable Rare healer. Life Bloom grants Regeneration, Seed Magic extends debuffs, and Growth and Decay creates a zone that heals allies and damages enemies.

Zirthia the Witness (Honorable Mention)

Zirthia the Witness is an Epic Wind Support from the Lightseekers, and a strong pick for the Spires. Defender of Truth shields nearby allies and gives RES Up, Serenity's Judgement gives Skill SPD Up and Recovery Up, Honest Blade extends buffs, and she gives allies Mana.
