Sebastin the Dreamweaver guide: skills, build and team roles
Overview
Sebastin the Dreamweaver is a Legendary Wind Support from the Freeborn Faction in Invokers: Titan Legacy. He improves what the rest of the team already does, bringing both offensive and defensive support. On offence he provides three of the strongest buffs: ATK Up, Crit Rate Up and Crit DMG Up. ATK Up increases attack-based output, Crit Rate Up helps attacks and critical-triggered effects connect as intended, and Crit DMG Up makes those critical hits more valuable.
On defence he brings Evasion and Regeneration. Regeneration goes to the allies with the lowest current HP, two normally and three at Max Level, so the weakest Invokers on your team are the ones getting healed, and its duration and amount cover injured Invokers for a long time. He's also a great pairing with Invokers who work with buffs on them, as he provides five unique buffs for those allies.
Fully Awakened and before Gear, Sebastin has 932 ATK, 798 DEF and 10,845 HP. His ATK is high for a Support and his HP is about average. Each Regeneration tick scales from the recipient's MAX HP, so building more ATK or HP on Sebastin doesn't raise it. His own damage scales with ATK.
He's most convincing when the team already has capable attackers and needs amplification. His recovery is gradual rather than an emergency heal, and he has no resurrection or cleanse, so bring a Tank, a cleanser and an emergency healer if your team needs them.
Skills To Prioritize
Dream of Celerity starts with 45% ATK Up and grows to 55% at Max Level. The Max Level version also lasts fifteen seconds and has a nineteen-second base cooldown, so you can keep the buff up more often. That's a substantial attack buff, but it depends on what the recipient scales from: a DEF-based attacker doesn't gain the same direct damage as an ATK-based one. It also places Evasion, which applies to Combo Attacks but not to every active Skill and Ultimate, so check whether an enemy's main damage comes from Combo Attacks before leaning on it.
Dream of Destruction adds Crit Rate Up and Crit DMG Up before its own two-hit attack. At Level 10 the buffs are 40% and 75% for fourteen seconds, and Max Level extends them to seventeen seconds. The Crit DMG Up value is an increase to the Crit DMG stat, not a promise that the final hit deals exactly 75% more damage in every build.
Dream of Magic extends a random buff on the furthest ally within range. His fifth Combo Attack also extends buffs, selecting an ally near the enemy target, so positioning affects who benefits. These are selective maintenance tools, not a blanket refresh for the whole team, and Unkillable and Invincibility can't be extended.
Dream of Vitality places Regeneration on the allies with the lowest current HP. At Level 1 the tick is 5% every two seconds at base speed. Level 10 reaches 7.5% with a fourteen-second duration, and Max Level keeps that tick strength, adds a third target and extends the duration to sixteen seconds. This is sustained recovery rather than an immediate burst heal, so a critically injured ally can still die before enough ticks land, particularly under concentrated fire or healing suppression.
His Ultimate costs 1,100 Mana at Level 1 and 1,000 at Max Level, so it stays expensive.
If you want Sebastin to give your team dependable attack support, prioritize Dream of Celerity, as Max Level improves its strength, duration and cooldown together. If critical hits define your team, consider upgrading Dream of Destruction first, due to its Crit Rate Up and Crit DMG Up. If recovery is what your team is missing, upgrade Dream of Vitality first, since Max Level adds a third Regeneration target and gives it more reach when several allies are hurt. Don't treat every small damage increase as equally urgent.
Build And Team Support
Build HP first, then RES. Aim for about 300 RES for Bosses, and more for Arena. His Skills don't place any debuffs, so he doesn't need Accuracy. His own damage scales with ATK, but raising it shouldn't cost him survival, because staying alive to keep the team's buffs up matters more.
After that, you have several ways to build him. Mana Gen suits the offensive route: more Mana gives you faster Ultimates and more uptime on Crit Rate Up and Crit DMG Up, and it also pairs well with other Invokers who give Mana to the team. Skill RECOV suits the defensive route: it increases uptime on Regeneration, which keeps your Invokers' health up.
For Relic Sets, Health Relics give him more survivability, and Resistance Relics help him resist debuffs so he can keep casting. Mana Relics bring his expensive Ultimate round sooner, and Fury Relics bring his active buffs and Regeneration back faster through Skill RECOV.
Pair him with capable attackers. A Tank, a cleanser or an emergency healer covers what he doesn't, and extra protection for the opening moments of a fight helps before enough Regeneration ticks land.
Arena, Bosses And Spires
In Arena, the Evasion buff lets your Invokers avoid enemy Combo Attacks, and evaded Combo Attacks give the attacker no Ultimate or Titan Mana, which is a great way to create a gap between your team and your opponent's. His offensive buffs support a damage dealer that benefits from ATK and Crit buffs, including one with a critical-hit effect in its kit. His Ultimate is expensive, so the full set of buffs may not be ready at the opening: protect him and make sure your team survives until his buffs are up.
Against Althar, his native Tolerances are a good match and he provides valuable help. Althar's minions need an answer to their reviving, which Sebastin doesn't provide, so bring another Invoker for that.
Against Sorgott, ATK Up, Crit Rate Up and Crit DMG Up raise a working team's damage, and his native Crush Tolerance covers part of the danger. He doesn't place Jinx, steal buffs or cleanse allies, so bring other Invokers for those and cover the rest of the protection with your build and teammates.
Against Galvos, who rewards buffs on your allies, Sebastin's buffs help with the damage-reduction mechanic. Against Pentiax, bring Titan damage, and against Hyxxis, an Invoker who can break eggs, because Sebastin amplifies the right attackers but doesn't do either himself.
Against Astral Omnissi, be wary of stolen buffs, since Regeneration can be stolen and turn his support into a liability. Against Light Omnissi, be wary of the MAX HP penalty on healing, so judge carefully how much repeated Regeneration ticks help there. Against Wind Omnissi, bring Invokers who place Move SPD Down, and against Dark Omnissi, Invokers who place Combo SPD Down, as Sebastin doesn't.
In the Wind Spire, his broad offensive buffs help area attackers clear waves, while Regeneration keeps endangered allies up between bursts. He doesn't place hard control or heal the whole team in an emergency. Max Level Dream of Vitality's extra target helps most when several teammates are taking damage and two Regeneration recipients aren't enough.
Awaken
Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Sebastin's potential.
Unlocking each Titan node at Star 2, 4 and 6 adds a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
