Plumia Story

Within her staff, Plumia incubates the Crystal Egg - a curious gem that will hatch into a phoenix "whose flames will ignite the land anew". Plumia is the egg's 32nd, thoroughly unwilling, custodian. She's been doing everything to make sure the egg doesn't hatch, as she reckons its grand emergence involves the Emerald Kingdom burning down. Let the next poor custodian deal with that mess.

Custodian Plumia guide: skills, build and team roles

Overview

Custodian Plumia is an Epic Fire Support from the Eldrin Faction in Invokers: Titan Legacy. She keeps an offensive team fighting: your attackers get ATK Up, damaged allies get a group heal, and debuffs can be removed or blocked. Buff extension adds value when the rest of your team already brings buffs worth keeping. She works best as part of a coordinated team of Supports and attackers, not as a source of personal damage.

Fully Awakened and before Gear, Plumia has 9,544 HP, 766 ATK, 631 DEF and 45 RES, and no Accuracy. Her ATK and HP are both about average for a Support. Her healing scales with ATK, so offence and recovery share a stat, but she still needs enough HP to survive: a Support who gets interrupted or defeated before healing contributes little, whatever her heal coefficient says.

Skills To Prioritize

Pinion Blast shortens one random debuff on one random nearby ally. The reduction rises from one second at Level 1 to 2.8 seconds at Level 10 and three seconds at Max Level. It's useful background help, but because the target is random and it only affects one debuff, don't rely on it for a specific dangerous debuff. Shortening a debuff isn't removing every debuff from your team.

Flamecrest places the group ATK Up on its second hit. The buff starts at 25%, gives 35% for 12 seconds at Level 6, and reaches 40% for 14 seconds at Level 10. Max Level leaves the size and duration alone and cuts the cooldown from 21 to 20 seconds. 40% is a big increase for ATK-based damage and ATK-scaled healing, but it does little for a Skill that scales only from DEF or HP, so check what your team scales from before treating Plumia as a damage booster for everyone. The ATK Up is a fixed percentage, so Plumia's own ATK doesn't make it bigger.

Phoenix Rite deserves early attention when debuffs are costing you fights. Level 6 adds a one-debuff cleanse to its group heal. By Level 10, the heal reaches 600% of Plumia's ATK on a 24-second cooldown. Max Level removes two random debuffs instead of one and lowers the cooldown to 23 seconds, which can matter more than a small damage upgrade elsewhere in her kit. The heal reaches allies within seven metres of Plumia, so positioning and spacing are part of using it well.

Will of the Crystal Egg is her Ultimate, combining buff extension with Immunity. At Level 10 it extends up to two random buffs by 12 seconds and gives three-charge Immunity for 14 seconds. Max Level raises the extension to three buffs, extends Immunity's maximum duration to 16 seconds and lowers the Mana cost to 1,000. It extends buffs that already exist before placing its new Immunity, so it doesn't extend that same new protection. Immunity blocks ordinary debuffs, not Control Debuffs; Willpower is the buff that blocks Control Debuffs.

If you want Plumia to keep your team healthy through debuffs, prioritize Phoenix Rite first, as Level 6 adds the cleanse and Max Level removes two debuffs. If you want her to power up your damage dealers, consider upgrading Flamecrest first, as it reaches 40% ATK Up for 14 seconds at Level 10. If you want her to protect the team through a hard stretch, consider upgrading Will of the Crystal Egg first, since Max Level extends three buffs and lengthens Immunity to 16 seconds.

Build And Team Support

Plumia has no debuffs of her own, so invest in HP first, then RES, up to about 300 for Bosses and more for Arena. Her heal scales from ATK, so put the rest of your stats into ATK. Flamecrest's ATK Up is a fixed percentage, so her ATK doesn't make it bigger. She has no Accuracy-dependent effect, so don't spend Gear on Accuracy.

Her Ultimate costs 1,000 Mana at Max Level, so put Mana Gen on her Talisman, especially for Arena. Skill RECOV gets Phoenix Rite, her heal and cleanse, back sooner.

Health Relics help her survive, and Attack Relics make her heal hit harder. Mana Relics bring her Ultimate round sooner, and Fury Relics raise Skill RECOV for Phoenix Rite.

Pair her with real area damage, and bring a Tank or an Invoker with control when you need one. Buff extension is strongest when your allies place useful buffs first; with little to extend, part of her Ultimate goes to waste.

Arena, Bosses And Spires

In Arena, Plumia fits teams that need an attacker to keep acting through debuffs. ATK Up helps your damage, and the cleanse can restore an ally's ability to contribute. A cleanse happens after the problem, though, and it has to land before the team collapses. Be wary of fast enemy pressure, interruptions and a spread-out formation, as they can all reduce her value. She has no revive, so a defeated teammate stays defeated.

Against Sorgott, her cleanse helps with removable debuffs, but Swarm can't be cleansed or shortened, and neither Phoenix Rite nor Pinion Blast gets around that. Immunity is a preventative resource with limited charges, and you still need to keep an eye on Sorgott's buff interactions. She helps the team here, but she doesn't solve the fight alone.

Against Relic Bosses, Galvos rewards keeping useful buffs on allies, so Flamecrest's ATK Up and Will of the Crystal Egg's buff extension fit his mechanics. Plumia places no Heal Reduction, so bring another Invoker to deal with Ulgorim's healing totems, and a teammate who can control buffs for Sakiel's buff cycle.

Fire and Water Omnissi are good places to use her cleanse and Immunity against debuff pressure. Astral Omnissi steals buffs, so extension is less straightforward, and be wary of Light Omnissi, who punishes healing.

In the Fire Spire, group healing and cleansing are reasons to invest even though her active damage is single-target and only her fifth Combo hit adds a small area attack.

Awaken

Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Plumia's potential.

Unlocking each Titan node at Star 2, 4 and 6 adds a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
