Selisa guide: skills, build and team roles
Overview
Selisa is a Rare Light Ranged Attacker from the Eldrin in Invokers: Titan Legacy. She brings damage and team utility in one slot: she places DEF Down on a priority target, Move SPD Down on a group in front of her, and Stun across a group with her Ultimate. With Selisa on the team, your allies hit her target harder, and enemies take longer to reach your back line.
All of her damage scales from her ATK, and every debuff she places needs Accuracy to land.
Before gear, Selisa reaches 651 ATK, 595 DEF and 6,869 HP. Her ATK is low for a Ranged Attacker, while her DEF and HP are both about average.
Biting Shadow hits one enemy and places DEF Down on it, so use it on the target your team most needs to take down. Phantom Claws places Move SPD Down on up to eight enemies in a 90-degree cone ten metres in front of Selisa, then hits them three times, so face her towards the group before using it. Her Ultimate, Eternal Pack, hits up to eight enemies around a target twice and places Stun on the second hit.
Eternal Pack deals bonus damage to enemies immune to Control Debuffs, which keeps her Ultimate useful even when its Stun cannot land. Keep in mind that Move SPD Down only slows movement: a slowed enemy can still use its ranged Skills.
Skills To Prioritize
Skill 2, Biting Shadow, places 25% DEF Down for six seconds at first. Level 6 raises it to 30% for seven seconds, Level 10 to 34%, and Max Level to 35% for nine seconds. Its cooldown falls from 28 seconds to 24 across those upgrades, so Max Level gives your team a longer window to hit the target, and a sooner reuse.
Skill 3, Phantom Claws, places 40% Move SPD Down for ten seconds at first, 50% for 12 seconds at Level 6 and 60% for 12 seconds at Level 10. Max Level extends it to 14 seconds and lowers the cooldown from 30 seconds to 24. Against Omnissi (Wind), the longer duration matters more than the stronger slow, because what counts is keeping Move SPD Down on the Boss.
Her Ultimate, Eternal Pack, places a two-second Stun at first, three seconds at Level 6 and four at Max Level. Its bonus damage against enemies immune to Control Debuffs grows from 25% to 30% at Level 6, 37% at Level 10 and 40% at Max Level. Its Mana cost falls from 1,100 to 1,075 at Level 5, 1,050 at Level 8 and 1,000 at Max Level.
Skill 1, Howling Fang, hits one enemy. Its upgrades add damage without changing what it does.
If you want Selisa to help your team take down Bosses, prioritize Biting Shadow, as Level 6 raises its DEF Down to 30% and Max Level to 35% for nine seconds. If you want your Selisa to control waves of enemies, consider upgrading Eternal Pack first, as Level 6 extends its AoE Stun to three seconds. If Omnissi (Wind) is the fight you are stuck on, upgrade Phantom Claws, as Max Level keeps its Move SPD Down active for 14 seconds.
Build And Team Support
As a damage dealer without Burn or Bleed, Selisa wants Crit Rate up to 75–80%, then as much Crit DMG as you can fit. Take Accuracy and add more after that: DEF Down, Move SPD Down and Stun all need it. Fully Awakened and before Gear, she has 60 Accuracy, which will not be enough for harder stages on its own. For Arena, build Mana Gen so Eternal Pack's AoE Stun comes around sooner.
To land her debuffs more consistently, equip Accuracy Relics. For more damage, consider Crit Rate or Crit Damage Relics, depending on which of the two your build is short of.
She has no healing or Shields, so bring a healer and a Tank to keep her alive. Move SPD Down helps keep Melee Attackers away from her, but it will not stop enemies that attack from range.
Arena, Bosses And Spires
In Arena, Phantom Claws slows enemies charging at your team, Eternal Pack can Stun a group to open a window for your damage, and Biting Shadow helps your team focus one priority target. Be wary of enemy Invokers with the Immunity or Willpower buff, high RES or debuff cleansing Skills, as they can stop her debuffs from landing or remove them early.
Omnissi (Wind) is her standout Boss. Omnissi (Wind) evades Combo Attacks, but stops while Move SPD Down is active, and Phantom Claws places it. Keep in mind that Omnissi shortens debuffs and Phantom Claws has a cooldown, so pair Selisa with a second source of Move SPD Down or an Invoker who extends debuffs to keep it on the Boss.
Selisa's native Blight Tolerance helps against Ulgorim and Koltmos. Against Ulgorim, her DEF Down helps your whole team hit harder, but bring teammates who place the Heal Reduction the fight calls for. Galvos takes more damage for every debuff on him, so her DEF Down and Move SPD Down add to the team's total.
Against Sakiel, Selisa has no Burn or Bleed, so she avoids the penalty that Sakiel places on them. She does not place Mindworm or remove buffs, so bring teammates who do. Against Sorgott, her AoE attacks help clear out his Crypt Rats. Sorgott deals most of his damage through Manaburn and Crush Corruption, and Selisa does not have native Manaburn or Crush Tolerance, so bring Invokers or Relics that do, along with Invokers who can grant Immunity or cleanse debuffs.
In the Light Spire, Selisa brings both AoE damage and control, which is especially useful while your roster is small. Pair her with Light Invokers who cover what she does not bring. Nirvelle the Soulraiser heals the team, revives a fallen ally and places Unkillable. Fatefinder Dylaine extends up to two debuffs on a target, which can keep Selisa's DEF Down active for longer, and boosts the team's ATK. Kegbeast Tonhaka places Combo SPD Up, Crit Rate Up and Crit DMG Up on the team, helping Selisa hit harder, and Sanctus the Valiant shields the team and removes their debuffs.
Awaken
Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Selisa's potential.
Unlocking the Titan nodes at Star 2, 4 and 6 each add a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
