Aumnis guide: skills, build and team roles
Overview
Aumnis is a Legendary Earth Ranged Attacker from the Eldrin Faction in Invokers: Titan Legacy. She deals big single-target hits from range, and her damage grows when she's buffed and when she lands critical hits. Flying Thorn deals more damage for every buff on her, Descending Leaf is her biggest hit, and her Ultimate, Eternal Quiver, cycles her Skills on every critical hit. Paired with a Support who buffs her, she's a damage dealer who gets more out of her team than most.
Her damage scales from ATK, so she benefits from the same build as other damage dealers. She places no debuffs and has no Bleed or Burn, so Accuracy isn't a requirement for her. She doesn't heal or Shield, so she needs allies to keep her alive: her strength is hitting hard, not surviving a focused attack.
Critical hits matter beyond damage. Eternal Quiver shortens a random Skill's cooldown on every critical hit, and Descending Leaf gives her Titan Mana on a critical hit. That makes Crit Rate worth more on her than a plain damage number suggests.
Skills To Prioritize
Flying Thorn deals 5% more damage per buff on Aumnis at Level 1, rising to 10% at Level 10. If the target has no buffs, it also shortens its own cooldown, by 4 seconds at Level 1 and 8 at Level 10. Its cooldown falls from 28 seconds to 23 at Max Level. This is her best Skill when she's well buffed, and it needs allies who buff her.
Descending Leaf is her biggest hit, dealing 295% ATK at Level 1 and 590% at Max Level. It gives her 75 Ultimate Mana at Level 1 and 150 at Level 10. On a critical hit, it also gives her Titan Mana, 75 at Level 1 and 150 at Max Level. Its cooldown falls from 26 seconds to 21 at Max Level.
Eternal Quiver costs 1,100 Mana, falling to 1,075 at Level 5, 1,050 at Level 8 and 1,000 at Max Level. It hits one enemy three times, and each critical hit shortens a random Skill's cooldown, by 5 seconds at Level 1 and 12 at Level 10. If it kills the target, she gains Ultimate Mana, 150 at Level 1 and 300 at Max Level.
Briar Shot and her fifth Combo Attack are low priority. Briar Shot shortens Descending Leaf's cooldown by 1 second, rising to 2 at Max Level, and the Combo Attack gives her Titan Mana for every buff on her, 2 at Level 1 and 4 at Max Level.
If you want Aumnis to hit as hard as she can, prioritize Flying Thorn, as Level 10 raises its damage to 10% per buff. If you want her biggest hit back sooner, upgrade Descending Leaf first, as Max Level cuts its cooldown to 21 seconds and doubles its damage. If you mostly want her to cycle her Skills, upgrade Eternal Quiver, as Level 10 shortens a Skill's cooldown by 12 seconds on every critical hit.
Build And Team Support
Aumnis doesn't rely on Bleed or Burn, so build Crit Rate to about 75–80%, then as much Crit DMG as the build allows. Past that threshold, Crit DMG is worth more than more Crit Rate. Put Mana Gen on her Talisman for Arena, since Descending Leaf and her Combo Attack feed Titan Mana. Add Skill RECOV to bring Flying Thorn and Descending Leaf back sooner.
For Relic Sets, Crit Rate Relics help her reach the threshold, and Crit Damage Relics, or Predator for ATK and Crit DMG, raise each hit. Attack Relics raise the damage Flying Thorn builds on. She has native Manashock and Blight Tolerances.
Flying Thorn needs buffs on her, so bring a Support who buffs, such as Quinnto the Proclaimer for ATK Up and Combo SPD Up, and a Tank who takes the hits so Aumnis can keep attacking.
Arena, Bosses And Spires
In Arena, Aumnis hits from range, and every critical hit brings her next Skill closer. Descending Leaf's Titan Mana on a critical hit helps your team win the Titan race. Be wary of enemy Invokers who remove buffs, as Flying Thorn loses its bonus without them. She has no control, heal or Shield, so she needs protection.
Against Koltmos, Ranged Attackers are the plan, and Aumnis's native Manashock and Blight Tolerances match both of Koltmos's Corruptions. Descending Leaf and Flying Thorn are her biggest hits, which helps with the burst that interrupts the Deadsun Ritual. Eternal Quiver gives Ultimate Mana when it kills, so it's good at finishing the Doomclaws Koltmos summons. Koltmos is immune to Bleed, which doesn't matter, as Aumnis places none.
In the Earth Spire, good teammates in her Rarity are Quinnto the Proclaimer, who places ATK Up and Combo SPD Up and extends buffs, and Asprill the Enshrined, who places HP Shields, DEF Up and Damage Filter and then ATK Up for her attackers. Both give Aumnis buffs for Flying Thorn and keep her in the fight.
Awaken
Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Aumnis's potential.
Unlocking each Titan node at Star 2, 4 and 6 adds a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
