Falrae Story

Falrae watches over the Wanewood, a forest locked in eternal autumn where the Ancients go to rejoin the cycle of nature. Falrae guides them to their rest, and celebrates life with the other Eldrin that come there. But her eyes stay sharp, for not all who come to the Wanewood have good intentions…

Falrae guide: skills, build and team roles

Overview

Falrae is an Epic Earth Ranged Attacker from the Eldrin Faction in Invokers: Titan Legacy. Her kit is built around one simple condition with several payoffs: when an enemy has no buffs, she gains extra Ultimate Mana, cycles her Active Skills faster and hits harder with her Ultimate's critical hits. She also brings tools to block and steal buffs, so she can create the situation she wants.

Jinx is scarce: she is one of the few Invokers in the game who place it, so she's a good candidate if you're building a team that needs it.

Fully Awakened and before Gear, Falrae has 1,173 ATK, 603 DEF and 6,044 HP. Her ATK is high for a Ranged Attacker and her HP is about average. She has no heal, Shield or defensive cleanse, so protecting her long enough to run her buff-control sequence is part of building the team.

Skills To Prioritize

Curse of Endings places Jinx on one enemy. It starts by blocking one incoming buff for up to nine seconds. At Level 10 it blocks two for up to 14 seconds; Max Level blocks three and lowers the base cooldown to 23 seconds. The charges can be used up before the duration ends, so it's not an unlimited 14-second ban on buffs. Jinx also doesn't remove buffs that are already active. If the target is protected right now, Falrae needs her Ultimate or another Invoker's buff removal to clear those effects. Place Jinx to stop the next buffs, and know which enemy buff cycle you want to interrupt.

Wanewood Shot gives extra Ultimate Mana only if the target has no buffs. At Level 10 the gain is 23, rising to 25 at Max Level, on a ten-second cooldown. That's a bonus on top, not enough on its own to get you to a 1,000 Mana Ultimate.

Autumnal Power attacks twice. Each hit reduces the cooldown of a random Active Skill, but only if the target has no buffs: 4.5 seconds at Level 10 and five seconds at Max Level. Both the target's state and the random pick matter, so don't count on it to reset Curse of Endings or keep Jinx up permanently.

Bolts of Stolen Strength is her Ultimate. It attacks one enemy three times, and each hit steals a random buff through Level 10; Max Level steals two random buffs per hit. It also gains extra Crit DMG when the target has no buffs: 95% at Level 10 and 100% at Max Level. That isn't a flat 100% increase to every attack, and a hit has to be critical to use Crit DMG at all. Max Level also lowers the Ultimate's cost from 1,050 to 1,000 Mana and improves its base damage coefficient. If the cast starts on a buffed enemy, don't assume every hit gets the unbuffed bonus: it depends on what buffs the target has at that moment.

If you want Falrae to keep a target buff-free, prioritize Curse of Endings, as Max Level blocks three buffs and lowers its cooldown to 23 seconds. If you want her to hit harder while stripping buffs, consider upgrading Bolts of Stolen Strength first, as Max Level steals two buffs per hit, lowers its Mana cost and raises its damage.

Build And Team Support

Accuracy comes first, on her Chestplate and Flask and then as much as the build allows, as both Jinx and buff stealing need it to land. After that, take Crit Rate to around 75-80%, then as much Crit DMG as the build allows, as her Ultimate's extra Crit DMG only works on critical hits. A damage-only build can leave her whole routine unreliable. She has 6,044 HP, so keep an eye on her survival too.

For Relic Sets, Accuracy Relics help Jinx and her stealing land, which comes before increasing the hit. Crit Rate Relics get her critical hits more often, and Crit Damage Relics make each one hit harder, which matters most on her Ultimate.

She has no heal, Shield or cleanse. A Tank, opening control or defensive support is more useful beside her than another damage buff. Bring area damage from other Invokers for waves.

Arena, Bosses And Spires

In Arena, Falrae is a candidate for attacking a priority enemy whose buffs make it hard to defeat. Jinx can limit the next defensive cycle, while stealing can undermine existing protection. Be wary of teams that control or defeat her before she acts, as she can't look after herself.

Sakiel is a natural fit because managing his buffs is central to the fight. Falrae both blocks and steals them, and she doesn't add the Burn or Bleed ticks that speed up his Skills. That's a strong match, but random steals, limited Jinx charges and landing the effects mean it's still not a guaranteed clear.

Against Sorgott, blocking or stealing his ordinary buffs helps your team's damage. Falrae doesn't cleanse the team and can't remove Swarm, so pair her with defensive answers for the fight. Against Galvos, don't treat the permanent Power Cell stat gains as ordinary stealable buffs; use her against effects the game shows as removable buffs.

Against Ulgorim, Falrae can't stop his healing, so bring another Invoker for that. Against Earth Omnissi, use Jinx and her stealing on her offensive buffs, but be wary of Astral Omnissi, who can bring her own buff theft. Use her where a Boss's buffs can actually be stripped, as not every Boss can be stripped in the same way.

In the Earth Spire, her role is focused damage. All of her active damaging Skills hit one enemy, so don't count on her to clear waves. Bring area damage from other Invokers and use Falrae when one durable or heavily buffed enemy is why a floor stalls. If waves themselves overwhelm your group, investing in another AoE damage dealer will help let Falrae do what she does best.

Awaken

Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Falrae's potential.

Unlocking each Titan node at Star 2, 4 and 6 adds a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
