Kaelis Story

The excitable daughter of High Prince Malkanis, Princess Kaelis has become an inspiring commander in her own right. Arrows in hand and battle cry ringing in the air, she leads from the front atop Skyspur, her soulbound steed – and where she leads, every soldier in the Emerald Kingdom would follow.

Princess Kaelis guide: skills, build and team roles

Overview

Princess Kaelis is an Epic Light Ranged Attacker from the Eldrin Faction in Invokers: Titan Legacy. She works on effects that are already in play: she shortens enemy buffs, makes the debuffs your allies place last longer, and can pass some of her own debuffs on to an opponent. That makes her at her best beside strong debuffers, and less useful in a team that gives her nothing worth extending.

Her critical hits also feed two different resources. Battle Princess gives Titan Mana, while High Decree can return Ultimate Mana, so Crit Rate does more for her than extra damage.

Fully Awakened and before Gear, Kaelis has 1,128 ATK, 616 DEF and 6,301 HP. Her ATK is high for a Ranged Attacker, and her HP is about average. She has no heal, Shield or revive, so think about how she'll survive pressure: being at range doesn't keep her safe in every fight.

Skills To Prioritize

Royal Hope attacks one enemy and shortens a random buff. At Level 10, that's 3.8 seconds off one buff. Max Level shortens up to two random buffs by four seconds each. It's useful against temporary protection or offensive buffs, but it doesn't remove every buff outright. Long-lasting buffs can still be there after the cut, and effects that can't be removed won't behave like ordinary buffs.

Battle Princess passes debuffs from Kaelis on to the enemy. At Level 6 it passes two; Max Level makes it three. It needs Accuracy to land, and it only helps when Kaelis has debuffs to pass on. It doesn't cleanse the rest of the team. A critical hit also gives Titan Mana, reaching 80 at Level 10 and 100 at Max Level.

Regal Pledge attacks three times. Each hit extends a random debuff by 3.8 seconds at Level 10; at Max Level it extends up to two random debuffs by four seconds. That upgrade matters most when several strong debuffs are already on the target. Because the pick is random and the effect needs Accuracy to land, you can't count on one chosen debuff staying up permanently, and your allies still have to place the debuffs in the first place.

High Decree first attacks a line in front of Kaelis, then an area around Kaelis herself. Those two shapes cover waves differently, so don't expect two guaranteed hits on every enemy on the battlefield. At Max Level, a critical second hit can return 35 Ultimate Mana, while the cast itself costs 1,000 Mana. That refund is separate from the Titan Mana on Battle Princess: one gets you to your next Ultimate, the other feeds the Titan. Neither makes a limitless loop, and you need the critical hit to land.

If you want Kaelis to keep your team's debuffs running, prioritize Regal Pledge, as Max Level extends up to two debuffs per hit. If you want her to strip enemy buffs, consider upgrading Royal Hope first, as Max Level shortens up to two buffs instead of one. If you want her to pass her own debuffs on and build Titan Mana, upgrade Battle Princess first, as it passes on two debuffs at Level 6, three at Max Level, and its Titan Mana rises to 100.

Build And Team Support

Accuracy comes first, on her Chestplate and Flask and then as much as the build allows, so her buff shortening, debuff extension and debuff passing land. After that, take Crit Rate to around 75-80%, then as much Crit DMG as the build allows, as her critical hits are what feed Titan Mana and Ultimate Mana. Don't give up every bit of Accuracy for crits if manipulating buffs and debuffs is the reason Kaelis is in your team. She has 6,301 HP, so keep an eye on her survival too.

For Relic Sets, Accuracy Relics help her effects land, which comes before increasing the hit. Crit Rate Relics get her critical hits more often, which keeps Titan Mana and High Decree's Ultimate Mana refund coming. Attack Relics raise her direct damage.

She has no healing, Shield or revive, so bring a healer and a Tank to keep her alive. If your team lacks reliable crowd control, Kaelis won't fill that gap, and she needs strong debuffers beside her to have anything worth extending.

Arena, Bosses And Spires

In Arena, Kaelis can add ranged damage, strip buffs from a protected target and extend the debuffs your allies place. Most of what she does hits one enemy at a time. She doesn't open with a broad disable or save anyone from a defensive mess, so your teammates have to create the space for her attacks to land.

Pentiax's fight strongly favours Titan damage, so Battle Princess's Titan Mana has a clear use there, though that doesn't guarantee a clear. Against Galvos, extending useful debuffs helps your team's damage. Against Sakiel, shortening ordinary buffs can help, but a random cut to the duration doesn't replace the buff control the fight needs.

Against Ulgorim, another Invoker has to place the right debuff for his healing before Kaelis has anything to extend. Sorgott needs your team to handle his buffs and your allies' debuffs as well. Her own passing of debuffs can't cleanse the team or remove Swarm, and random buff shortening isn't guaranteed to remove the most dangerous effect.

Against Koltmos, Kaelis can add ranged damage, as long as your team has the burst the fight needs at the right time. Against Wind and Dark Omnissi, Kaelis doesn't place Move SPD Down or Combo SPD Down, so Wind Omnissi's evasion and Dark Omnissi's reflection need another Invoker's answer. Treat her as a partner for a debuff team, not as a source of every important debuff.

In the Light Spire, High Decree brings area damage while her regular Skills help against priority enemies. She's worth considering when your roster has strong debuffs and needs an attacker who builds on them. If your group lacks healing, a Tank or reliable crowd control, Kaelis alone won't fill those gaps: her Max Level upgrades improve what your team already does rather than building a full support kit from nothing.

Awaken

Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Kaelis's potential.

Unlocking each Titan node at Star 2, 4 and 6 adds a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
