Asprill Story

Asprill led the legendary Tenth Legion and won the position of High Sentinel, guardian of the Celestial Palace – a cushy post, if she let herself relax. Asprill… did not. With few immediate attackers, she has taken up a more proactive defense: none can attack the Palace if none can reach it alive.

Asprill the Enshrined guide: skills, build and team roles

Overview

Asprill the Enshrined is a Legendary Earth Support from the Lightseekers Faction in Invokers: Titan Legacy. She stops a team losing members before it can do its job: shields absorb damage, DEF Up strengthens the team's ordinary defence, Damage Filter subtracts a flat amount from incoming hits, and Unkillable gives two endangered allies a temporary safety net. ATK Up lets the protected attackers hit harder while all of that is up.

That combination is valuable when a team already knows how it wants to win but loses members before it gets the chance. She doesn't heal or revive, so a teammate left at very low HP still needs recovery before her protection runs out.

Fully Awakened and before Gear, Asprill has 842 ATK, 874 DEF and 10,990 HP. Her ATK is about average for a Support, and her HP is high.

Skills To Prioritize

Legion Shield is her core team Skill. Its shield scales from Asprill's own MAX HP, so building her HP makes the protection she hands out bigger as well as keeping her alive. The DEF Up that comes with it helps against damage that DEF reduces, but it won't stop MAX HP attacks or anything that ignores DEF. At Level 10 it gives a 23% own-MAX-HP shield and 50% DEF Up for 16 seconds. Max Level raises the shield to 26%, lengthens both effects to 18 seconds and lowers the base cooldown to 24 seconds.

Sentinel Crash gives Unkillable to the two allies with the lowest current HP. Unkillable stops their HP falling below one while it lasts, but they still take damage and aren't healed. Cast it before a dangerous hit to gain time for recovery, but don't count on it reaching every fragile ally. It grows from 10 seconds of Unkillable on a 29-second base cooldown to 13.6 seconds on 25 seconds at Level 10, then 14 seconds on 23 at Max Level. Those upgrades make it last longer and come back sooner, not stay up permanently.

Celestial Flare extends randomly chosen buffs on a random ally. That keeps ordinary attack or defence buffs going, but you can't aim it at the whole team. Unkillable and Invincibility can't be extended under the game's shared rules, so combining Legion Shield and Sentinel Crash won't give you an endless Unkillable loop.

Imperial Gaze places ATK Up and Damage Filter. The filter subtracts a flat amount from each incoming hit, sized from her MAX HP, so it's best against repeated smaller hits; a big single hit can still get through. It doesn't cancel effects attached to a hit. Her Max Level Combo Attack removes a debuff from herself when the fifth attack is a critical hit, not from the whole team on every attack.

If you want Asprill to keep a team alive through a big opening, prioritize Legion Shield first, as its shield and DEF Up grow and come back sooner. If you want her to save fragile allies in a long fight, consider upgrading Sentinel Crash first, since Unkillable lasts longer and returns sooner. If you want her filtering and ATK Up to be central, upgrade Imperial Gaze, her Ultimate, first. Leave the Max Level Combo Attack self-cleanse until last, unless that personal debuff is what's holding the build back.

Build And Team Support

Asprill has no debuffs of her own, and her shield and Damage Filter both scale from her MAX HP, so invest in HP first: a shield that doesn't hold is no shield at all. Then build RES, up to about 300 for Bosses and more for Arena. She has no Accuracy-dependent effect, so don't spend Gear on Accuracy. Add Skill RECOV to bring Legion Shield and Sentinel Crash back sooner, and Mana Gen on her Talisman for Imperial Gaze, especially for Arena. Max Level Combo Attack is the only reason to think about Crit Rate, and it shouldn't come before the stats that keep the whole team protected.

For Relic Sets, Health gives her the HP her shield and filter scale from, and Paragon makes her shields and heals 15% bigger. Fury raises Skill RECOV for Legion Shield and Sentinel Crash, and Mana raises Mana Gen for Imperial Gaze. Useful stats matter more than forcing an incomplete set.

Pair her with a healer or reviver to cover what she doesn't do, and with damage dealers that make the most of ATK Up. Her native Blight and Paralysis Tolerances help where those damage types show up.

Arena, Bosses And Spires

In Arena, Asprill can protect a carry through the enemy's opening damage and keep the pressure on with ATK Up. A teammate who heals or revives covers what she doesn't. Be wary of enemy buff removal, buff theft and interruption, as they can break her protection; she needs enough HP to finish her Skills, and she can't beat every control setup by herself.

Against Sorgott, Legion Shield gives a defensive layer where DEF doesn't cover every attack. She doesn't remove his buffs, place Jinx or cleanse your team's debuffs, and she can't cleanse Swarm, so bring another Invoker for those jobs.

Against Galvos, keeping several buffs on your allies suits his mechanic that reduces damage to a buffed target. Against Relic Bosses, Legion Shield gives you time against incoming damage, but she doesn't help with Pentiax's Titan Mana, Althar's anti-revive effect or the damage needed to break Hyxxis's eggs, so bring Invokers who do.

Light Omnissi is a sensible place to try Legion Shield, as healing has a MAX HP penalty against her. Be wary of Astral Omnissi, who steals buffs and can be strengthened by them, so a buff-heavy team needs careful support or a different lineup there.

In the Earth Spire, Legion Shield protects several allies through wave damage, so they don't each need their own survival Skill. Her fifth Combo Attack has a small area effect, but she isn't a wave clearer; the team still needs damage and, where useful, crowd control.

Awaken

Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Asprill's potential.

Unlocking each Titan node at Star 2, 4 and 6 adds a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
