Lightwind Iristeia guide: skills, build and team roles
Overview
Lightwind Iristeia is a Legendary Wind Melee Attacker from the Lightseekers Faction in Invokers: Titan Legacy. Her kit places several effects a team might otherwise need separate Invokers to cover. She lowers enemy RES and ATK, blocks Active Skills, and her Ultimate places area DEF Down, which raises your team's damage, and Hex, which stops enemies that die while it's active from being revived.
Fully Awakened and before Gear, Iristeia has 1,085 ATK, 791 DEF and 9,388 HP. Her ATK and HP are high for a Melee Attacker.
Disable is scarce: she is one of the few Invokers who place it, so she is a good candidate if you are building a team that needs it.
Skills To Prioritize
Radiant Onslaught attacks twice, placing RES Down on the first hit and ATK Down on the second. At Level 10 each is 45% for fifteen seconds. Max Level raises both to 50% and lowers the base cooldown from 24 to 22 seconds. The first effect can help later debuffs land, but Iristeia still needs Accuracy to place RES Down herself, and Immunity is a separate restriction. ATK Down helps against damage that scales with ATK, not against every attack, such as ones that scale from MAX HP.
Seraphic Smite places 15% Combo SPD Down before a focused attack. It lasts five seconds at Level 10 or six at Max Level, with a ten-second base cooldown. It slows Combo Attacks, not the ordinary cooldown recovery of Active Skills.
Shattered Requiem places Disable around Iristeia for thirteen seconds at Level 10 and Max Level. Max Level lowers its base cooldown from 24 to 22 seconds. Disable blocks Active Skills; it doesn't stop every action an enemy can take.
Exalted Reckoning attacks a forward area, then places DEF Down and Hex. Level 10 gives 46% DEF Down for fifteen seconds and Hex for eighteen. Max Level improves these to 50% DEF Down for seventeen seconds and Hex for twenty. A target that dies while Hex is active gains Block Revive. Hex doesn't kill the target itself, and it won't stop a revive if it runs out before the target dies, so time your team's damage during the mark. DEF Down and Hex come after the attack, so the new DEF Down doesn't boost that first hit.
Her fifth Combo Attack extends a random debuff on the target by 1.4 seconds at Level 10. Max Level raises that to up to two debuffs and 1.5 seconds. It still needs Accuracy, and selection is random, so it can help keep effects up but won't hold one chosen Disable, Hex or Combo SPD Down on an enemy for good.
If you want Iristeia to weaken one dangerous enemy, upgrade Radiant Onslaught first, as Max Level raises both debuffs to 50% and lowers its cooldown. If you want her to shut down Active Skills across a group, consider upgrading Shattered Requiem first, as Max Level lowers its cooldown from 24 to 22 seconds. If you want her to stop revives, upgrade Exalted Reckoning first, as Max Level improves its DEF Down to 50% and Hex to twenty seconds.
Build And Team Support
Iristeia places RES Down, ATK Down, Disable, DEF Down, Hex and Combo SPD Down, and all of those need Accuracy, so put Accuracy on her Chestplate and Flask and stack as much as the build allows. After that, build ATK and Crit Rate to about 75-80%, then as much Crit DMG as the build allows. Past that point, Crit DMG is worth more than more Crit Rate. Add HP and DEF, because she fights in melee, and Skill RECOV to bring her Skills back sooner. She has native Crush and Fatigue Tolerances, and she doesn't place Bleed, which Althar punishes.
For Relic Sets, Accuracy Relics help her debuffs land more consistently, and Crit Rate Relics help you reach the Crit Rate threshold. For more damage once those are covered, Predator Relics add ATK and, at five pieces, Crit DMG. Fury Relics add Skill RECOV, and Health or Defense Relics help her survive in melee.
She has no heal, Shield or revive, so bring healing and protection, plus damage that can finish the targets she weakens.
Arena, Bosses And Spires
Arena and Spire waves can use her wide Disable and her Ultimate's debuffs, with allied damage and healing behind her. Against teams that revive, Exalted Reckoning's Hex is her most useful tool.
Against Althar, Hex stops his reviving minions from coming back, and her native Crush and Fatigue Tolerances match his Corruptions. She doesn't place Bleed, so she avoids the problem Bleed causes against Althar.
Against Dark Omnissi, who reflects Active Skills, Seraphic Smite's Combo SPD Down switches that reflection off while it lasts, though its short duration means timing matters.
Pick her when your team uses several of these effects together.
Awaken
Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Iristeia's potential.
Unlocking each Titan node at Star 2, 4 and 6 adds a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
