Dannos Story

Sir Dannos seems the perfect knight – strong, dutiful, and kind. But he left his realm behind in search for the one he lost: Princess Irialla, his lifelong friend and confidant. Sir Dannos could not protect her from the Demons that stole her, but he will scour all of Amara to get her back.

Dannos guide: skills, build and team roles

Overview

Dannos is a Rare Light Melee Attacker from the Lightseekers in Invokers: Titan Legacy. He does multi-target damage via his Ultimate, has a single-target damage amplifier and access to Shock – a strong Control Debuff. These tools all work together to make Dannos the potential best pick as your starter Invoker: focus on one target, charge into position and place Shock, and then use his Ultimate to finish them off.

His Ultimate, Winds of Serenity, attacks up to eight enemies within five metres of Dannos eight times over two seconds. Its damage bonus depends on his current HP percentage, not his overall MAX HP – so keep that in mind. At Level 10, each 10% of current HP adds 10% damage.

The main draw of his Ultimate is that he can move during it. Use this ability to carve a path through multiple enemies, or focus this spin attack on a single target. Running through a group without support can still get him killed, especially if he is hit by a Control Debuff during the attack.

Skills To Prioritize

His Ultimate, Winds of Serenity, is where his main damage comes from. Its Mana cost falls from 900 at Level 1 to 875 at Level 5 and 850 at Level 8; reaching Max Level brings it to 800.

Skill 2, Smitebringer, improves from 7% Weaken for six seconds without upgrades to 10% for nine seconds at Level 10.

Skill 3, Sacral Spike's Shock reaches 1.5 seconds at Level 10. This is great for PvP and Campaign, where Dannos can lock down enemy Invokers and minions, but it isn't very effective against Bosses – who are usually immune to such Control Debuffs.

If you want Dannos to focus on clearing waves of enemies, prioritize Winds of Serenity, as Level 10 raises its damage bonus to 10% for every 10% of his current HP. If you want your Dannos to set up damage on one dangerous target, consider upgrading Smitebringer first, as its Weaken grows from 7% for six seconds to 10% for nine seconds, helping your whole team hit that target harder.

Build And Team Support

As a Melee Attacker, boosting Dannos's ATK, Crit Rate, and Crit DMG are all useful. Accuracy is needed for him to place Weaken and Shock, so a damage-only build can lose part of his utility. Pair him with a healer to keep his HP high, and to ensure he gets the highest possible damage bonus from his Ultimate. As he's not a Tank, make sure to also have someone to take the majority of the damage.

To increase Dannos's damage output, consider equipping him with ATK Relics to gain that useful Set Bonus. If you want to focus your Dannos on placing his debuffs more consistently, kit him out with Accuracy Relics.

He will also benefit from a Support Invoker who can extend the duration of his debuffs, so you can keep your team's entire damage output high.

Arena, Bosses And Spires

In Arena, Dannos can punish grouped enemies and briefly interrupt a target with Shock. He needs help keeping his health up and surviving opposing control. Treat him as an early damage option rather than an automatic late-game control specialist.

Against Ulgorim, Weaken supports team damage and his native Blight Tolerance is relevant. He does not provide the Heal Reduction or other answers a complete team needs. Galvos rewards debuffs, giving Smitebringer a useful interaction, but his kit contains relatively few distinct debuffs. A specialist can offer more team amplification.

Against Sorgott, his AoE Skills are helpful for clearing out Sorgott's rats, but his lack of Manaburn or Crush Tolerance makes him a less-than-ideal pick. For Koltmos, his Blight Tolerance does help, but his role as a Melee Attacker will not help in dealing with the Doomclaws that buff up the Doom Shaman.

He has no Burn or Bleed in his kit, avoiding those specific penalties on Sakiel, but also provides no Mindworm or buff control. Against Omnissi, he's more useful as a secondary form of DPS, as he can't counter any specific mechanics of the individual Elemental Garudas.

The fact he is a Light Invoker makes him a great addition to Light Spire teams, with his AoE damage and access to Shock being well-suited for wave-clearing. However, his absence of healing, shielding and revival means he has to slot into a wider team, rather than him being the Invoker that carries a Light Spire team to those further floors.

Awaken

Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Dannos's potential.

Unlocking the Titan nodes at Star 2, 4 and 6 each add a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
