Arissa Story

Arissa has always disliked violence, even as a child. The world, she thought, deserved better care than that. She has become a master healer and symbol of peace – but when war does come, she does not hesitate.

Arissa guide: skills, build and team roles

Overview

Arissa is a Rare Water Lightseekers Support in Invokers: Titan Legacy. She brings healing and DEF Up without any complicated setup. For a developing account, that can be enough to keep a damage dealer active through waves that would otherwise wear your team down.

Fully Awakened and before Gear, Arissa has 561 ATK, 591 DEF and 7,953 HP. Her ATK is the lowest of any Rare Support, while her DEF and HP are about average for a Support. Her heals scale from ATK, so keep her low ATK in mind when you decide where to spend your upgrades.

Hymn of Vitality, her Ultimate, heals allies within six metres of Arissa, first with a larger heal and then twice more over two seconds. Positioning matters. A distant attacker won't always get the same healing as allies grouped around her, and a team that's moving can miss some of it.

Well of Faith adds a different kind of heal. It damages enemies near a selected target, then heals the lowest-current-HP ally within the specified area around that target using a percentage of damage dealt. The heal depends on the damage actually dealt, so enemy defences reduce it. It isn't a fixed percentage of the ally's MAX HP.

Her limits sit next to these mechanics. She has no cleanse, Immunity, shield or revive, so she can't deal with repeated debuffs or bring back a fallen ally, and DEF Up doesn't reduce attacks that ignore DEF.

Skills To Prioritize

Hymn of Vitality at Level 10 has a 400% ATK opening heal followed by two 125% ATK heals. Max Level leaves the opening heal unchanged, raises the follow-ups to 150% ATK and reduces the Mana cost from 1,050 to 1,000. That means better healing and a cheaper Ultimate, not a new cleanse or revive.

Fount of Strength begins at 15% DEF Up for ten seconds on a 28-second cooldown. Level 6 gives 20% for 12 seconds; Max Level reaches 25% for 14 seconds with a 22-second cooldown. It won't stay up the whole time without other effects that bring it back sooner or make it last longer.

Well of Faith's healing conversion reaches 50% of damage dealt at Level 10. Max Level keeps that percentage and lowers the cooldown from 25 to 23 seconds.

If your team keeps losing to damage it can't heal back, prioritize Hymn of Vitality, as Max Level makes the follow-up heals bigger and her Ultimate cheaper to cast. If your team is failing because too much damage gets through, consider upgrading Fount of Strength first, as Max Level takes DEF Up from 15% for ten seconds to 25% for 14 seconds with a shorter cooldown.

Build And Team Support

Arissa has 7,953 HP, 561 ATK and 45 RES fully Awakened and before Gear. HP, DEF and RES help keep her alive, and ATK is what makes Hymn of Vitality heal more, so balance those jobs rather than building HP alone. Invest in HP first, then RES, which you want at about 300 for Bosses and more for Arena. Add ATK for her direct healing, and Mana Gen if you want Hymn of Vitality more often. None of her Skills needs Accuracy, so don't spend upgrades on it out of habit.

Health Relics give her the HP to stay available, and Attack Relics raise the ATK that Hymn of Vitality heals from. Mana Relics help her cast Hymn of Vitality sooner. Don't swap out good pieces just to finish a Relic Set.

Pair her with Invokers who deal wave damage and control enemies, since she does little of either, and bring a cleanser or an Immunity provider when the fight needs one.

Arena, Bosses And Spires

In early Arena teams, Arissa can keep allies healthy through ordinary damage, but she does little to stop a dangerous opening control sequence. She needs protection to get her heal off, and she can't bring an ally back once they're dead. Check whether healing alone is enough for the matchup.

Her Manaburn Tolerance helps her survive against Hyxxis and Sorgott. Against Sorgott, DEF Up doesn't reduce Manaburn damage that bypasses DEF, and her heal can't remove Swarm or other debuffs.

Galvos rewards buffs on allies, so Fount of Strength is worth more there than just the extra DEF.

Be wary of Astral Omnissi, who can steal the DEF Up from Fount of Strength. Light Omnissi punishes healing by destroying MAX HP, which cuts against what Arissa does.

The Water Spire is a good place for her group healing and DEF Up. If the team is losing to repeated debuffs rather than raw damage, adding a cleanser may help more than another Level of healing.

Awaken

Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Arissa's potential.

Unlocking each Titan node at Star 2, 4 and 6 adds a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
