Giiya the Peddler guide: skills, build and team roles
Overview
Giiya the Peddler is a Legendary Wind Support from the Cambion Faction in Invokers: Titan Legacy. She covers four recovery jobs on her own: Lamplight cleanses debuffs and casts a Shield, Healing Glow heals the ally who needs it most, and her Ultimate, Bombboar Blast, revives a fallen ally and speeds up the Skills of everyone who is hurting. Paired with Invokers who deal the damage, she keeps a team standing through the pressure that would otherwise end the fight.
Her Shield and heals scale from MAX HP. Fully Awakened and before Gear, Giiya has 792 ATK, 888 DEF and 11,423 HP. Her HP is among the highest in the game, which makes her Shield and heals large, while her ATK is about average for a Support.
She places no debuffs and her attacks do modest damage, so she works best beside Invokers who hit hard. Her cleanse also removes random debuffs, so it doesn't always take away the one that matters most.
Skills To Prioritize
Lamplight removes debuffs from the ten allies with the lowest current HP within 15 meters, then casts a Shield on them. It removes one random debuff at Level 1, two from Level 4 and three from Level 8. The Shield is 12% of MAX HP at Level 1 and 24% at Level 10, lasting 13 seconds. Max Level keeps the Shield the same size and extends it to 15 seconds. Its base cooldown is 27 seconds, and because the debuffs it removes are random, it isn't a guaranteed answer to one particular effect.
Healing Glow heals the ally with the lowest current HP for 10% of MAX HP at Level 1 and 20% at Level 10 and Max Level. It also shortens the cooldown of that ally's second Skill, by 5 seconds at Level 1, 9 at Level 10 and 10 at Max Level. Its base cooldown is 18 seconds. The heal goes to whoever is lowest, so it follows the damage without you aiming it.
Bombboar Blast costs 1,100 Mana. It hits one enemy twice. The first hit revives one fallen ally, with 15% HP at Level 1, 25% at Level 4, 30% at Level 6, 40% at Level 9 and 50% at Max Level. The second hit shortens the cooldown of every Active Skill on the ten allies with the lowest current HP, by 4 seconds at Level 1 and 8 at Level 10. The revive is there from Level 1, so upgrades make it bigger, not newly unlocked. It also needs someone to have fallen, so it isn't a heal for a team that's still standing.
Paper Bomb is her single-target attack. It extends the duration of one random buff on Giiya by 1 second at Level 1, rising to up to two buffs by 3 seconds at Max Level. It only extends Giiya's own buffs, so it's the lowest priority of her Skills.
If you want Giiya to keep your team healthy and free of debuffs, prioritize Lamplight, as Level 4 and Level 8 remove more debuffs and Max Level extends its Shield to 15 seconds. If you want her to recover from losses, consider upgrading Bombboar Blast first, as Max Level raises the revive from 40% to 50% HP. If you mostly want steady healing, upgrade Healing Glow, which heals 20% of MAX HP and shortens the second Skill's cooldown by 10 seconds at Max Level.
Build And Team Support
Her Shield and heals scale from MAX HP, so invest in HP first, then RES, up to about 300 for Bosses and more for Arena. Giiya places no debuffs, so she doesn't need Accuracy. Bombboar Blast costs 1,100 Mana, so put Mana Gen on her Talisman, especially for Arena. Skill RECOV is worth adding if you want Lamplight, which carries her kit, back sooner.
For Relic Sets, Health Relics raise the MAX HP her Shield and heals scale from. Paragon makes her heals and Shields 15% bigger. Mana Relics bring Bombboar Blast round sooner, and Resistance Relics make it harder for enemy debuffs to land on her before Lamplight can clean them up. She has native Frost and Mindfog Tolerances.
She places no debuffs and her damage is modest, so bring damage dealers, ideally with an Invoker who places debuffs, and a Tank. Healing Glow and Lamplight keep them in the fight, and Bombboar Blast brings back anyone who falls.
Arena, Bosses And Spires
In Arena, Lamplight's Shield and cleanse help your team through the opening burst and enemy debuffs, and Bombboar Blast brings a fallen Invoker back while shortening Skill cooldowns across the hurt allies. Be wary of enemy Invokers who remove buffs, as they can strip Lamplight's Shield. Giiya doesn't slow or control enemies herself, so she needs damage dealers to turn her protection into a win.
Against Galvos, who asks for a Tank and Supports and for heals and Shields, Lamplight's Shield and Healing Glow keep your team standing through his attacks.
Against Water Omnissi, who is best met with Invokers who remove debuffs, Lamplight cleanses up to three debuffs from ten allies, and Giiya's native Frost and Mindfog Tolerances match both of her Corruptions. Against Fire Omnissi, Lamplight's cleanse helps in the same way, though Giiya has no Tolerance for her Manaburn and Daze Corruptions.
Against Pentiax, Giiya's native Mindfog Tolerance matches his Damage Corruption and Healing Glow covers the healing the fight asks for. Against Yskara, her native Frost Tolerance matches Yskara's Control Corruption.
In the Wind Spire, Giiya's Shield, cleanse and revive carry a team through long runs of waves. Good teammates in her Rarity are Lightwind Iristeia, who places a wide range of debuffs and an area Disable, and Taranis the Bolt Regent, who places area Accuracy Down and ATK Down while his Shocksphere keeps attacking. Giiya keeps them alive while they do the damage.
Awaken
Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Giiya's potential.
Unlocking each Titan node at Star 2, 4 and 6 adds a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
