Setira of the Coven guide: skills, build and team roles
Overview
Setira of the Coven is a Legendary Wind Support from the Magi Faction in Invokers: Titan Legacy. She powers a team up instead of patching them up: Arcane Coat places Immunity and reduced damage taken on the ten allies with the lowest HP%, Slipstream Glyph places Combo SPD Up and Skill SPD Up, and her Ultimate, Speed Blitzer, fills those allies' Ultimate Mana. Paired with Invokers who deal the damage, she lets them cast faster, take less damage and reach their Ultimates sooner.
Her buffs are fixed values and her own attacks do little damage, so her stats matter mainly for keeping her alive long enough to keep casting. She places no debuffs, so she doesn't need Accuracy. She has no heal, Shield or revive of her own, and her value sits in buffs staying on her team.
Skills To Prioritize
Arcane Coat has no attack. It places Immunity and a Harden buff on the ten allies with the lowest HP% within 15 metres. Immunity blocks two debuffs at Level 1, three at Level 5 and four at Level 9, and each Immunity charge blocks one debuff before it expires. Harden reduces damage taken by 10% at Level 1 and 20% at Level 10. The buffs last 10 seconds at Level 1, 12 at Level 4, 14 at Level 8 and 16 at Max Level, and the cooldown drops from 28 seconds to 23 at Max Level.
Slipstream Glyph hits one enemy and places Combo SPD Up and Skill SPD Up on the same ten allies. Skill SPD Up reaches 20% at Level 10 and Combo SPD Up reaches 20% at Max Level, from 10% each at Level 1. The buffs last 16 seconds at Max Level and the cooldown falls from 30 seconds to 25.
Speed Blitzer costs 1,100 Mana, falling to 1,075 at Level 5, 1,050 at Level 8 and 1,000 at Max Level. It hits one enemy three times. The first hit shortens her Flux Surge cooldown, by 5 seconds at Level 1 and 10 at Level 10. The second and third shorten Arcane Coat and Slipstream Glyph, by 10 seconds at Level 1, 14 at Level 5, 18 at Level 9 and 20 at Max Level. The third hit also gives ten other allies 100 Ultimate Mana at Level 1, 150 at Level 6 and 200 at Max Level. At Max Level she can bring both buff Skills back almost immediately.
Flux Surge and her fifth Combo Attack only extend buffs. Flux Surge adds 1 second to one buff on ten allies, rising to 2 seconds at Max Level. The Combo Attack extends one of her own buffs by 1 second, or two buffs by 2 seconds at Max Level. Both are low priority.
If you want Setira to keep the team safe from debuffs, prioritize Arcane Coat, as Level 5 and Level 9 raise the debuffs Immunity blocks to three and four. If you want her to make your damage dealers faster, upgrade Slipstream Glyph first, as its Skill SPD Up and Combo SPD Up both reach 20%. If you mostly want her to charge your team's Ultimates, upgrade Speed Blitzer, as Max Level gives each ally 200 Ultimate Mana.
Build And Team Support
Setira's buffs don't scale from her stats, so invest in HP first, then RES, up to about 300 for Bosses and more for Arena. She places no debuffs, so she doesn't need Accuracy. Her Ultimate is the reason to field her, so put Mana Gen on her Talisman, especially for Arena. Skill RECOV is worth adding for Arcane Coat and Slipstream Glyph, which carry her kit.
For Relic Sets, Health Relics make her harder to remove from the fight and Resistance Relics make it harder for enemy debuffs to land on her. Mana Relics bring Speed Blitzer round sooner, and Fury Relics shorten Arcane Coat and Slipstream Glyph.
Bring damage dealers who benefit from faster Skills and Combo Attacks, and a Tank to take the hits. Setira can't heal or Shield, so pair her with a healer if your team needs one.
Arena, Bosses And Spires
In Arena, Arcane Coat and Slipstream Glyph give your team Immunity, reduced damage taken and faster Skills in one move, and Speed Blitzer charges the Ultimates of the ten allies with the lowest HP%. Be wary of enemy Invokers who remove or shorten buffs, as they strip what Setira places. She places no control, so she needs allies to turn the head start into a win.
Against Fire Omnissi, who is immune to Burn herself and fights with Burn and Manaburn, Arcane Coat's Immunity is the answer. It blocks up to four debuffs on ten allies, and Speed Blitzer shortens its cooldown by up to 20 seconds. Setira's native Manaburn Tolerance also matches Fire Omnissi's Damage Corruption.
Against Hyxxis, her native Crush and Manaburn Tolerances match both of the Boss's Corruptions, and Slipstream Glyph's Combo SPD Up and Skill SPD Up help your damage dealers break the Brood Eggs faster.
Be wary of Dark Omnissi, whose Combo Attack shortens buffs by three seconds and whose Falling Eclipse removes a buff from each of three targets. Her team keeps Setira's buffs for less time in that fight.
In the Wind Spire, good teammates in her Rarity are Taranis the Bolt Regent, who places area Accuracy Down and ATK Down while his Shocksphere keeps attacking, and Azuma Thunderclap, who places RES Down, DEF Down and Weaken. Both deal more damage when Setira speeds their Skills and Combo Attacks.
Awaken
Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Setira's potential.
Unlocking each Titan node at Star 2, 4 and 6 adds a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
