Devi of the Six guide: skills, build and team roles
Overview
Devi of the Six is a Legendary Fire Melee Attacker from the Magi Faction in Invokers: Titan Legacy. She's built around repeated damage Skills, critical hits and offensive buffs. A good Devi build does more than make one Ultimate hit hard: it helps her stay alive and continually cycle through her high damage Skills.
Fully Awakened and before Gear, Devi has 1,166 ATK, 741 DEF and 9,187 HP. Her ATK is among the highest of any Melee Attacker.
Skills To Prioritize
Her Combo Attack 5 reduces Skyward Breaker's cooldown. At Level 10 the reduction is one second on a non-critical hit or 2.9 seconds on a critical hit, and Max Level brings the cooldown reduction to three seconds. Crit consistency therefore affects how often she can cast her Skills, as well as her damage.
Skyward Breaker attacks nearby enemies twice and grants Ultimate Mana, then gives Devi Skill Recovery Up. Level 10 provides 25% for 13 seconds, and Max Level keeps the percentage, extends it to 14 seconds and improves the Mana she gains. Skill Recovery Up brings her Skills back sooner, but it's different from Skill SPD and doesn't reset them at once.
Astral Blows attacks twice and places Crit DMG Up on her after the first hit. It reaches 95% for 14 seconds at Level 10 and 100% for 16 seconds at Max Level. That's a big personal buff, especially for an Invoker already built to land critical hits. It doesn't give Crit Rate, so a high Crit DMG Up can't make up for attacks that don't crit.
Spectral Straight shortens a random debuff on Devi for each critical hit. Max Level widens this to up to two random debuffs, each shortened by two seconds. That helps Devi personally recover, but you'll still need to worry about cleansing debuffs from the rest of your team.
Her Ultimate, Six-Fold Beatdown, attacks four times. It also reduces a random Active Skill cooldown on a random ally. Level 6 adds a second effect: a critical hit can reduce a random Active Skill cooldown on Devi herself. At Level 10, the allied cooldown reduction is six seconds and the personal cooldown reduction is five. Max Level raises the personal value to six and lowers the Ultimate's cost from 850 to 800 Mana.
If you want Devi to cycle her Skills faster, prioritize Six-Fold Beatdown up to Level 6, as that's where her critical hits start reducing her own cooldowns. If you want her to hit harder, consider upgrading Astral Blows first, as it reaches 95% Crit DMG Up for 14 seconds at Level 10. Max Level improves several parts of her Skill cycle, but a build that crits consistently matters more than reaching Max Level on everything.
Build And Team Support
Build Crit Rate to about 75-80%, then as much Crit DMG as your build allows, with ATK alongside, as her Skills lean on critical hits. Keep enough HP and DEF for the hits a Melee Attacker takes. Her native Skills don't need Accuracy, so she doesn't need it for enemy effects. Tune Skill RECOV and her other secondary stats around how often you actually get your Skills back, rather than assuming every cooldown reduction makes a permanent loop.
For Relic Sets, Crit Rate Relics get her critical hits more often, Crit Damage Relics make each one hit harder, and Attack Relics raise the ATK her hits scale from. Her native Crush and Fatigue Tolerances help in fights where those Corruptions appear.
She suits a team that needs damage and can protect a Melee Attacker, so bring healing, Shields or revival from the rest of the lineup. Pick teammates and a Titan that help her stay in the fight and build momentum.
Arena, Bosses And Spires
In Arena, Devi can pressure one dangerous target while Skyward Breaker deals area damage. She doesn't bring hard control, a heal or a Shield, so allies have to create space for her to attack. Be wary of teams that disable or defeat her before she acts, as a disabled Melee Attacker can't turn cooldown reductions into pressure.
Against Althar, her native Crush and Fatigue Tolerances help, and she doesn't place Bleed, which Althar reacts to. Her allies still need to handle Althar reviving his minions.
Against Sorgott, Devi brings direct damage and some cooldown help but places no enemy debuffs, so bring teammates who place DEF Down or Heal Reduction.
Against Relic Bosses, it's the same story: she places no enemy debuffs, so bring teammates who place DEF Down or Heal Reduction.
In the Fire Spire, her area attack and focused Ultimate fit a team that needs both wave damage and a way to finish a durable enemy. Her personal debuff shortening helps her own uptime, while healing, Shields and revival still need to come from the rest of the team. She's an offensive contributor within a complete climbing team.
Awaken
Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Devi's potential.
Unlocking each Titan node at Star 2, 4 and 6 adds a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
