Sarienne Story

Sarienne has been a gunsmith since she was fifteen, making custom weapons for Freeborn pirates with whatever strange materials they could bring her. Becoming a Magi gave her the best material of all: magic. She put everything she had into her Empyreal Railbolt – and it was worth every drop of sweat.

Railbolt Sarienne guide: skills, build and team roles

Overview

Railbolt Sarienne is an Epic Earth Ranged Attacker from the Magi Faction in Invokers: Titan Legacy. She places her own Crit Rate Up and Crit DMG Up buffs, builds Ultimate Mana with her attacks and earns extra Mana and a faster Eliminator Bolt when she finishes an enemy. That makes her a focused damage dealer who pays off when your team can secure kills.

Fully Awakened and before Gear, Sarienne has 1,106 ATK, 628 DEF and 6,380 HP. Her ATK and HP are about average for a Ranged Attacker.

Her kill rewards are the part to watch: they only trigger when her Ultimate kills, so she's strongest against enemies she can actually finish.

Skills To Prioritize

Empyreal Calibration places its buffs before its attack, so the attack itself benefits from them: 20% Crit Rate Up and 60% Crit DMG Up for twelve seconds at Level 10. Max Level keeps the Crit Rate, raises Crit DMG Up to 75% and extends both buffs to fourteen seconds. The base cooldown falls from 21 to 20 seconds. They're personal buffs, not a team-wide Crit boost, so don't count on them being up all the time: think about the time before and between casts. A 75% Crit DMG Up only helps critical hits, so you need enough Crit Rate to use it reliably, and the usual same-kind buff rules apply if allies place competing buffs.

Accelerator Round grants 38 Ultimate Mana on a critical hit at Level 10, or forty at Max Level. Eliminator Bolt grants more, depending on the hit: 95 for a non-critical hit or 190 for a critical hit at Level 10, rising to 100 or 200 at Max Level. Those are alternatives, so don't add them together. A killing blow adds a further 130 at Level 10 or 150 at Max Level.

Soulpunch Driver, her Ultimate, attacks one enemy and, if it kills, reduces Eliminator Bolt's cooldown by 99 seconds. That's enough to clear its base cooldown under ordinary conditions, but it's a large reduction rather than a reset every time you cast the Ultimate. The kill also grants 190 Ultimate Mana at Level 10 or 200 at Max Level. The Ultimate costs 1050 Mana at Level 10 or 1000 at Max Level, so even a successful finish doesn't refund the whole cast.

If you want Sarienne to hit harder, upgrade Empyreal Calibration to Max Level first, as it raises Crit DMG Up from 60% to 75% and extends both buffs. If you want her to cycle Mana and Skills faster, upgrade Soulpunch Driver or Eliminator Bolt first, once your team can already secure kills, as their best returns need one.

Build And Team Support

Build Crit Rate to about 75-80%, then as much Crit DMG as the build allows, with ATK alongside, as her buffs and Mana grants lean on critical hits. Keep enough HP and DEF to survive the fight. She places no debuffs, so her Skills don't need Accuracy, though the Titan you pick may want other stats.

For Relic Sets, Crit Rate Relics get her to the Crit Rate threshold, Crit Damage Relics make each critical hit land harder and Attack Relics raise the ATK her hits scale from. Predator Relics add ATK and then Crit DMG. If you want Soulpunch Driver more often, Mana Relics add Mana Gen.

She doesn't place DEF Down, cleanse or heal, so bring Invokers who cover those, and bring area damage and control for waves.

Arena, Bosses And Spires

In Arena, Sarienne can finish a priority enemy with Soulpunch Driver, then return to Eliminator Bolt more quickly.

Against Koltmos, her Ranged Attacker class and native Blight and Manashock Tolerances make her a good fit, so she's worth testing in a full team.

Against Sorgott and Relic Bosses, Soulpunch Driver's kill rewards don't trigger while the Boss survives it, so count on her damage and ordinary Mana from Accelerator Round and Eliminator Bolt rather than the finishing cycle.

In the Earth Spire she can finish a priority enemy, then return to Eliminator Bolt faster. Her fifth Combo Attack hits a small area, but most of her kit is single-target, so bring other Invokers for wave damage, control and healing.

Awaken

Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Sarienne's potential.

Unlocking each Titan node at Star 2, 4 and 6 adds a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
