Redd Riot Story

Maniac. Bandit. Menace. These are the nicest epithets attributed to anti-stealth master criminal, Redd Riot. Exiled from Stoneloom for her innumerable crimes, she now plunders the world over, in the hopes of one day raising enough cash to start her own kingdom. Guarded by minigun-wielding underlings. And with only one law – what Redd says, goes.

Redd Riot guide: skills, build and team roles

Overview

Redd Riot is an Epic Fire Ranged Attacker from the Stonehearts Faction in Invokers: Titan Legacy. She pairs area damage with Hex, which helps your team finish enemies for good in fights where revival would otherwise undo your progress. Her critical hits also fill Ultimate Mana and speed up her active Skills, so she has more going for her than a single damage number.

Fully Awakened and before Gear, she has 1,114 ATK, 678 DEF and 5,787 HP. Her ATK and HP are both about average for a Ranged Attacker. She has no heal, Shield or cleanse, so she needs protection from teammates. Being ranged doesn't keep her safe from every dive or area attack, and an unfinished build can struggle to cover damage, Accuracy and survival at the same time.

Skills To Prioritize

Safe Cracker attacks an area around a selected enemy and places Hex. An enemy that dies while Hex is active gains Block Revive. Hex isn't an instant, permanent ban on revival just because it landed once: if it runs out before the kill or gets removed, the enemy can still come back. At Level 10, Hex lasts 15 seconds and the cooldown is 24 seconds. Max Level keeps the duration and lowers the cooldown to 23 seconds. The area around the target can catch several enemies, but positioning and Accuracy decide how many you hit. Time Hex with your team's damage, so when enemies go down, Hex stops them from getting back up.

Stick 'Em Up! reduces Active Skill 3's cooldown only on a critical hit. The reduction is 2.8 seconds at Level 10 and three seconds at Max Level. Since Active Skill 3 is Safe Cracker, your Crit Rate directly affects how often you can place Hex. It still isn't permanent Hex: the attack has to land, crit and have cooldown left to cut.

Eat Lead! attacks one enemy five times, and its critical-hit bonuses give 25 Ultimate Mana. At Max Level it keeps that value and its cooldown drops to 22 seconds. That's Ultimate Mana, not Titan Mana, and you can't count on every hit being a crit.

Running Riot! attacks a frontal cone eight times. At Level 10, critical hits reduce a random active Skill cooldown by 1.4 seconds, and Max Level raises that to 1.5 seconds and lowers the Ultimate cost to 1,000 Mana. The reduction is random, so it won't always speed up the Skill you want. Enemies also have to be inside the cone, so it won't land eight hits on every opponent on the field.

Her fifth Combo Attack adds a smaller area hit around the target. Together with Safe Cracker and the Ultimate, that gives her real wave damage, though some of her regular damage still hits a single target.

If you want Redd to keep enemies from coming back, upgrade Safe Cracker first, as Level 10 gives Hex 15 seconds to finish its targets and Max Level brings it back sooner. If you want her to clear waves, consider Running Riot! first, as it fires eight times through a cone and cuts cooldowns on crits.

Build And Team Support

Invest in Accuracy first on her Chestplate and Flask so Hex lands, then stack it as far as the build allows. After that, aim for 75-80% Crit Rate, then as much Crit DMG as the build allows: Crit Rate feeds Stick 'Em Up!, Eat Lead! and Running Riot!, and ATK boosts every hit. Skill Recovery can help bring Safe Cracker back sooner, and Mana Gen on her Talisman suits an Arena build.

Accuracy Relics help Hex land more often. Crit Rate Relics (+10% Crit Rate with three pieces) make her crit-based cooldown cuts and Mana gains more reliable, and Predator Relics give +10% ATK with three pieces and +40% Crit DMG with five if you want more damage.

Bring a healer or a Tank to protect her. Teammates who finish enemies off while Hex is active make it worth casting, and if you're short on healing or cleansing, filling that gap first may help your account more than Redd does.

Arena, Bosses And Spires

In Arena, Redd is at her best when an enemy reviver keeps undoing your kills. She doesn't place hard Control Debuffs or protect your opening, so those roles have to come from teammates.

In the Fire Spire, area damage and blocking revives can both help, but neither makes her an automatic first pick over every other Fire attacker. If a floor has no revival to deal with, compare her damage and survivability with the attackers you've already built.

Althar's revivable minions give Hex and Block Revive a clear job. Against Yskara, Hex won't help: her return isn't cancelled by ordinary Block Revive, so don't take the Althar advice to every Boss that comes back.

Against Galvos, who rewards debuffs, Safe Cracker places Hex, but one Hex doesn't replace a full set of debuffs. Against Sorgott, her area damage may help with his minions, while cleansing, protection and buff management have to come from other Invokers.

Against Omnissi, Redd does not place Move SPD Down for Wind Omnissi's evasion or Combo SPD Down for Dark Omnissi's reflection. Build her for damage and blocking revives, with enough survival to see the sequence through.

Awaken

Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Redd Riot's potential.

Unlocking each Titan node at Star 2, 4 and 6 adds a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
