Kosmi the Voidsmith guide: skills, build and team roles
Overview
Kosmi the Voidsmith is a Legendary Dark Melee Attacker from the Stonehearts Faction in Invokers: Titan Legacy. Her clearest job combines area DEF Down with focused buff theft and prevention, so she can help a team take apart its enemies' removable advantages. Her fifth Combo Attack extends buffs on her, which keeps effects she receives from allies or steals in combat running longer.
Fully Awakened and before Gear, Kosmi has 1,128 ATK, 741 DEF and 9,516 HP. Her ATK and HP are both high for a Melee Attacker.
Jinx is scarce: she is one of the few Invokers who place it, so she is a good candidate if you are building a team that needs it.
Skills To Prioritize
Destructor Shard places DEF Down around Kosmi for 16 seconds. At Level 10 it is 50%; Max Level raises it to 55% and lowers the base cooldown from 24 to 23 seconds. That is a big DEF reduction for attacks that DEF affects, but it isn't a fixed percentage boost to every damage source. It needs Accuracy to land. Because it works around Kosmi, she has to fight close to the enemies, so survivability matters alongside the debuff.
Void Striker attacks twice and steals three random buffs. After the second hit it places Jinx for 17 seconds, blocking three buff receptions at Level 10 or four at Max Level. Jinx can run out through time or charges, so it doesn't block every future buff, and neither Jinx nor theft gets past protected buffs. Random selection also matters when more buffs are eligible than the Skill can steal. The Skill lists a 13% Ultimate Mana gain if the target has no buffs, so don't count on the biggest possible refill while the enemy still has buffs.
Her fifth Combo Attack extends random buffs on Kosmi by 2.6 seconds. The count increases from two at Level 10 to three at Max Level. That helps keep her own effects running, but it doesn't keep a particular stolen buff on for good.
Causality Blow repeats its Active Skill 3 cooldown reduction in the Skill text, then refers to Active Skill 2 when the target has no buffs. The listed amount is 3.8 seconds at Level 10 or four at Max Level. Don't count on a guaranteed Skill loop.
Reality Ripple combines two focused attacks with an area attack. It bypasses DEF based on buffs, reaching 7% per buff at Max Level, with a 50% cap attached to the focused attacks. Don't count on a maximum DEF bypass. Those gaps don't change her clear jobs of DEF Down, theft and Jinx, which are reason enough to pick her.
If you want Kosmi to lower enemy DEF for your team, upgrade Destructor Shard first, as Max Level raises DEF Down to 55%. If you want her to block more buffs, upgrade Void Striker first, as Max Level adds the fourth Jinx charge.
Build And Team Support
Kosmi places DEF Down and Jinx, so put Accuracy on her Chestplate and Flask and stack as much as the build allows. After that, build ATK and Crit Rate to about 75-80%, then as much Crit DMG as the build allows. Past that point, Crit DMG is worth more than more Crit Rate. Add enough HP and DEF to survive in melee. She has native Crush and Manaburn Tolerances, which match Sorgott's Corruptions.
For Relic Sets, Accuracy Relics help DEF Down and Jinx land more consistently, and Crit Rate Relics help you reach the Crit Rate threshold. For more damage once those are covered, Predator Relics add ATK and, at five pieces, Crit DMG.
She has no heal, Shield or revive, so bring a healer and a Tank to keep her alive while she fights in melee.
Arena, Bosses And Spires
In Arena, Kosmi can use her area DEF Down beside focused buff control, with allies keeping her alive.
Against Sorgott, Jinx stops him receiving buffs and stops his DEF building through Despair Feast, and Void Striker steals the buffs he already has. Against Sakiel, Jinx blocks the powerful buffs he grants himself, and Void Striker steals them if you have the Accuracy to beat his RES.
In the Dark Spire, her area DEF Down and focused buff control can work together on waves. Allies need to provide the sustain.
Awaken
Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Kosmi's potential.
Unlocking each Titan node at Star 2, 4 and 6 adds a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
