Humi guide: skills, build and team roles
Overview
Humi is a Rare Wind Ranged Attacker from the Beastbloods in Invokers: Titan Legacy. She places single-target DEF Down and ATK Down, then finishes with an Ultimate whose damage grows with every debuff on its target. That makes her a focused damage dealer for a team that softens up one dangerous enemy: she helps set it up, and she hits harder the more debuffs her teammates place before she attacks.
Fully Awakened and before Gear, Humi has 790 ATK, 570 DEF and 5,800 HP. ATK is low for a Ranged Attacker and HP is about average.
Preybreaker and Maimbarb let her set up Deathquiver on her own, but they're modest: at Max Level, both reach 20% for 13 seconds. For comparison, Selisa's DEF Down reaches 35% at Max Level. You bring Humi for the mix of damage and debuffs, not for the strongest DEF Down around.
Every attack in her kit is single-target, so she's a weak pick for waves and rats: big damage on one enemy doesn't help when you need to take down several at once.
Skills To Prioritize
Deathquiver starts at 10% additional damage per debuff with a 100% cap. Level 10 reaches 15% per debuff with a 140% cap, and Max Level raises the cap to 150%. Ten debuffs reach the Max Level ceiling. Her own two debuffs add 30% if both are active; to reach the full bonus, your teammates need to place more debuffs.
That's the Skill's bonus, not the damage you'll see in a fight. Resistance, cleanses, debuffs running out, the target's DEF and Humi's own stats all still matter. Debuffs beyond the cap don't raise this bonus any further.
Preybreaker reaches 19% DEF Down at Level 10 and 20% at Max Level. Maimbarb reaches 18% ATK Down at Level 10 and 20% at Max Level. Their final upgrades also shorten their cooldowns to 24 seconds. Only upgrade them first if your team really needs those debuffs and has no stronger debuffer to place them.
Deathquiver costs 1,100 Mana initially, falling to 1,075 at Level 5, 1,050 at Level 8 and 1,000 at Max Level. She has no dedicated Mana Gen in her kit, so getting to the Ultimate depends on your build and your team.
If you want Humi to hit as hard as possible, prioritize Deathquiver: Level 10 already reaches 15% per debuff, and Max Level raises the cap and lowers the Mana cost. If you want her to prepare targets for the rest of your team, consider upgrading Preybreaker and Maimbarb first, but only when your team lacks DEF Down and ATK Down, as their last upgrades add just 1 to 2 percentage points.
Build And Team Support
Accuracy comes first, on her Chestplate and Flask and then as much as the build allows, so Preybreaker and Maimbarb land. After that, take Crit Rate to around 75-80%, then as much Crit DMG as the build allows. She has 5,800 HP, so keep an eye on her survival, because being at range doesn't make her safe.
For Relic Sets, Accuracy Relics help her debuffs land, which comes before increasing the hit, and Attack Relics raise her direct damage. Because she has no Mana Gen of her own, Mana Relics and Mana Gen on her Talisman get her to Deathquiver sooner, as the Ultimate is the reason to field her.
She has no healing, shielding, revive or hard control. Pair her with a Tank to take the hits and a healer to keep her alive, and don't give up every defensive stat chasing a fully debuffed Ultimate. A Humi who stays alive and keeps attacking is worth more than a damage cap she never reaches.
Arena, Bosses And Spires
In Arena, Humi can help focus a dangerous enemy after allies place their debuffs. She has no opening interrupt, so keep her protected while your allies place their debuffs, then use Deathquiver on that target. Be wary of enemy Invokers with Immunity or debuff cleansing Skills, as they can remove the setup for her strongest hit.
Against Galvos, Iron Catalyst rewards debuffs, so the DEF Down and ATK Down from Preybreaker and Maimbarb do double duty: they also raise Deathquiver's bonus. Against Ulgorim, Deathquiver adds damage, but nothing in her kit stops Ulgorim's healing, so bring someone who does. Against Koltmos, her ranged attacks and native Blight Tolerance help.
Against Sorgott, use Deathquiver to focus the Boss while other Invokers clear the rats, since her single-target attacks can't.
In the Wind Spire, she can take out a priority enemy, but your allies need to bring AoE damage, control and recovery. She doesn't place Move SPD Down, needed against Wind Omnissi, or Combo SPD Down, needed against Dark Omnissi. Build Humi when you're missing focused damage with some debuffs, and look again once you have stronger options.
Awaken
Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Humi's potential.
Unlocking each Titan node at Star 2, 4 and 6 adds a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
