Fenrich Story

While Beastbloods sleep soundly in their beds, a lone wolf patrols the streets. Armed with a Demon blade and a thirst for justice, Fenrich protects the terraces of Remnant from all manner of villainy. He does not seek adulation or fame, simply atonement. For along with his cursed sword, Fenrich bears a lifetime of sin. One that his heroics seek to atone for.

Fenrich the Reaver guide: skills, build and team roles

Overview

Fenrich the Reaver is a Rare Dark Melee Attacker from the Beastbloods Faction in Invokers: Titan Legacy. He offers focused damage and disruption rather than broad wave clearing. His Skills increase an enemy's cooldowns and place ATK Down, while his Ultimate removes Ultimate Mana. Those effects are at their best when delaying one dangerous opponent buys time for the rest of your team.

Fully Awakened and before Gear, Fenrich has 795 ATK, 545 DEF and 6,091 HP. His ATK is about average for a Melee Attacker, while his HP is low, so he needs protection to stay alive in melee. He has no healing, Shield, revive or area attack, which is why the rest of the team has to cover those jobs.

Skills To Prioritize

Beast Lunge charges an enemy within ten metres, tracking for five seconds, and only attacks if Fenrich reaches the target. Each of its two hits increases the cooldown of a random Active Skill, starting at three seconds per hit and reaching five seconds at Level 10. Max Level keeps that amount and shortens the Skill's cooldown from 20 to 19 seconds. Two successful hits do not mean every enemy Skill is delayed by ten seconds: the Skill is random and the effect has to land, so you can't count on it stopping the exact enemy Skill you want to stop.

Wild Frenzy attacks one enemy three times and removes Ultimate Mana on each hit, 40 per hit at first and 65 per hit at Level 10. Max Level keeps the 65 while increasing damage and lowering the Ultimate's cost from 850 to 800 Mana. It does not remove Titan Mana and is not a general Silence, Stun or Disable, so an enemy can still perform any action available to it. Mana denial doesn't help against enemies that don't build up Ultimate Mana, so don't count it as Boss control there.

Bladeclaw reaches 35% ATK Down for 14 seconds at Level 10. Max Level extends it to 15 seconds and lowers the cooldown from 26 to 24 seconds. This is the most widely useful part of his kit against enemies that hit hard with their ATK. It doesn't last forever on its own, and it doesn't cut all incoming damage by the same amount.

If you want Fenrich to pressure an enemy team in Arena by stalling its Skills and Ultimate, prioritize Beast Lunge and Wild Frenzy, as Level 10 raises their cooldown increase to five seconds and their Ultimate Mana removal to 65 per hit. If you want him to weaken a hard-hitting enemy, consider upgrading Bladeclaw first, as its ATK Down grows to 35% for 14 seconds at Level 10. Don't upgrade every Skill equally: you may spend resources on an effect the content you're stuck on never uses.

Build And Team Support

Fenrich needs Accuracy to land the cooldown increase, the Mana removal and ATK Down, and without them he loses most of his role. Fully Awakened and before Gear, he has 60 Accuracy. Put Accuracy on his Chestplate and Flask and stack as much as the build allows, then build Crit Rate to 75-80% and as much Crit DMG as you can for his attacks.

To land his effects more consistently, equip Accuracy Relics. For more damage, consider Attack Relics.

Keep him protected in melee and bring allies who provide the healing, Shields and area damage he lacks.

Arena, Bosses And Spires

In Arena, Fenrich can pressure a vulnerable target before its next dangerous Skill or Ultimate. That only works if he reaches the target, lands the effects and removes enough Mana to change when it casts. Removing a little Mana after an enemy has already cast isn't worth as much as delaying the cast beforehand.

Against Relic Bosses, check how cooldowns and Mana work for each Boss rather than assuming Arena rules carry over. Bladeclaw can help when reducing an enemy's ATK, but Fenrich doesn't place Heal Reduction for Ulgorim, doesn't place Mindworm or control buffs for Sakiel, and doesn't bring the range of buffs and debuffs that Galvos calls for.

Yskara's melee bonus and Frost Corruption give you a reason to try him, but he still needs Fatigue Tolerance and your team must deal with the Heart of Ice. That's a reason to try him, not a guaranteed clear.

Against Sorgott, his single-target kit does not solve his rats, and he lacks Jinx, cleansing and native Manaburn or Crush Tolerance. Against Wind or Dark Omnissi, he doesn't bring the movement or Combo SPD reduction she needs. His native Frost Tolerance helps where that Corruption appears, but it can't cover everything else a fight asks of your team's defences. Build Fenrich when disrupting a single enemy's Skills fills a real gap, and judge his place in a Boss team by what he actually does in that fight.

In the Dark Spire, Fenrich can hold back one dangerous enemy while the rest of your team clears groups and keeps everyone alive. If waves are overwhelming your team, an Invoker with AoE damage or group control will likely help more than Fenrich's single-target pressure.

Awaken

Awakening boosts an Invoker's stats significantly. Bonuses from Relics, Accessories, the Trophy Room, Tactics and Titan leader bonuses apply to base stats and Awakening stats alike, so unlocking the Awakening nodes is critical to maximise Fenrich's potential.

Unlocking each Titan node at Star 2, 4 and 6 adds a second to Titan Invokation, taking the total from 12 seconds to 15.
