Win Crowns in Tournaments to then get a Legendary Invoker from the Event Shop. You will gain Points for almost any action in-game, like upgrading Gear or defeating Bosses. Completing specific actions during related Tournaments will earn you x2 Points. You will also get extra rewards by placing 1st on your Local Leaderboard in a Tournament.
Remember, you can receive Points for specific actions any time while a Chase is live, but you will get x2 Points during specific Tournaments. You can still earn Points for a Chase Event after a Tournament has finished.

Grimnall the Hollowed is a Legendary Earth Ranged Attacker from the Nocturna faction, and his kit relies on buffs. Hallow Volley gives him Ultimate Mana for every buff on him, Devilish Ricochet hits a wide area and gives Titan Mana the same way, and Triple Trickshot gives Titan Mana on each of its three hits. The more buffs he carries, the faster he fills both bars.
He cannot place those buffs on himself, so he needs allies who do. His Combo Attack 5 can extend a buff already on him, and at Max Level it can extend up to two, which helps keep a supported team running but does not create a buff that is not there. Put him with Invokers whose buffs are worth having anyway, rather than building a team just to raise his count.
His Blight and Mana Shock Tolerances make him a natural fit to fight Koltmos, and his Titan Mana generation makes him worth testing wherever Titan damage matters. He places no debuffs and brings no healing, so he wants a team that already covers DEF Down, healing and protection. Build him for ATK, Crit Rate, and Crit DMG with enough HP and DEF to stay on the field.
And he is a Legendary. Legendaries are what a Spire roster is built on, and the Spire pays out more than almost anything else in the game — so a guaranteed Legendary is worth collecting even when he is not the Invoker you would have picked.
Grimnall Chase Calendar
Missing a Tournament does not take you out of the running to complete a Chase! As long as the Chase is live, almost every action you take will earn Points, whether or not the matching Tournament is active. This means that if you summon a Destiny Star during an Invoker Summon Surge, you will earn double Points, but on any other day, you will still earn Points. So long as you're playing, all of your actions will count towards earning Crowns in the Chase!
Completing your Daily Quests and Clan Quests is extremely helpful, because it gives you Points towards all goals every day. It is especially important to do Arena battles daily, as it helps you progress through the Arena goals, which are quite challenging.
If, at the end of the Chase, you have less than 170 Crowns, they don't go to waste! You can exchange these Crowns for Codexes, Prisms, Orbs, and Stars via the Event Shop. You still have a chance to pull a Legendary!

How many Tournaments run during the Grimnall Chase?
19 Tournaments run during the Grimnall Chase, and together they are worth 200 Crowns.
Can I see how many Tournaments are left?
Yes! The in-game Event Calendar will tell you which Tournaments are upcoming in the next 7 days, while the Calendar on this page will tell you all of the Tournaments in the Grimnall Chase. Grimnall Chase Calendar
Is the Grimnall Chase worth playing?
It is. Grimnall the Hollowed is a Legendary Invoker from the Nocturna faction, an Earth Ranged Attacker whose Skills generate Ultimate and Titan Mana whenever he has buffs on him, with a powerful AoE Skill and a three-hit Ultimate.
He works best with allies who place buffs on him. His Tolerances make him a good fit for Koltmos.
Legendaries are always needed for the Spire, where the rewards are among the best in the game — so the Chase pays off even if he is not the Invoker you would have picked. Read Grimnall the Hollowed's full kit
Where does Grimnall rank among Invokers?
You can check the Tier List, either in-game or on the Portal, to see where other players think Grimnall stacks up. Keep in mind, you may have to wait until other players earn the Chase Invoker to get a proper idea of their placement in the Tier List! Invoker Tier List
Can I finish the Chase as free-to-play?
Yes, comfortably. Play every day, claim all of the free Energy, and complete every Daily Quest and Clan Quest. Earn your Points while the matching Tournament is running so they count double.
Should I play Arena every day?
Yes. Free Arena Tokens stop refilling once you are holding ten or more, so banking them wastes the ones you never receive. Up to 34 are handed out across a day — spend them all, every day.
Short of Stars for the Summon Goal?
Wild Stars count too! Collect Wild Stars from clearing Boss Stages and Campaign and then use them during Invoker Summon Surges. It's the best way to clear these Tournaments if you're playing free-to-play.
Not going to reach 170 Crowns in time?
If you've exhausted your resources from just playing the game and are a little short of a Tournament goal, consider getting a pack from the Shop to make up the difference. Remember you can earn some extra VIP Points if you do purchase via the Shop on the Portal.
How do I run a Chase Event free-to-play?
Save any rewards you earn from clearing the Spires and use them for the matching Tournament. Spires rewards should get you most of the way there to finishing at least one Tournament's Personal Reward track. How to Get Free Stars and Orbs How to Progress and Earn Free Rewards
